(IsraelNN.com) The Israeli delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Conference in Ethiopia left the conference on Tuesday over the participation of Hamas delegates. Delegation head Silvan Shalom gave a speech announcing Israel's decision to leave and comparing the presence of Hamas to deciding to invite “Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.”

Because Bush is no longer president.
Despite his faults, President Bush refused to ever meet with Yasser Arafat and pulled out of the Durban farce. Even though he (erroneously) advocated a two-state solution and did meet with terrorist in a suit Abbas, he seemed to have a line he would not cross.
Unlike Obama, whose line seems to go the other way - ie most careful of Islam at the expense of Israel.
