This despicable video needs to be seen by as many people as possible.
The basic gist of it is...
"Dean Smith, I'm having a problem with one of my students.
See... he's a war criminal, oh I mean veteran & he is not unquestionably swallowing our leftist propaganda hook, line & sinker. He's very confrontational & disruptive... he challenges my assertions in front of the other students, asks that I provide objective data to back up my claims, and he actually has the nerve to espouse ideas that run contrary to our ideology.
I'm at my wits end & don't know what to do Dean Smith. Has Obama (all praise be unto him) announced when the reeducations camps will be opened, because my list of candidates is just getting longer with each passing semester?"

LOL! I would have loved seiing that where the kids were on your side.
We need to see if we can get coach Joe Paterno involved. The man is idolized by the alumni. Joe is all about discipline anbd I am sure he would not approve of Penn State doing this.
“Well, yeah, its true that vets never come back from horrible war experiences with issues. And in the very rare occasions they do, the VA always takes immediate care of it. /s”
War makes you ill, right? Understand that the political views of the soldier are just a product of the soldier being used? Instead of trying to understand why the soldier feels a certain way...pity the soldier? They can’t come outright and say they hate the military, so they create bunk like this. And they make statements overinflating the idea that soldiers have “issues.” Soldiers and republicans...and anyone else they don’t agree with. This was stale when it started.
Sarcasm? From a liberal? I’m SHOCKED I tell ya?! How many veterans do you know? The “issue” that brainwashing liberal profs have with them is that THEY ARE VETERANS. It’s obvious from the video that this prof has been outspoken about the war. They never talk about WHAT subject she teaches. What’s the context?
There’s a mindset that believes our military becomes “ill” when they go war. This offends me. The military DOES take care of soldiers’ issues. In addition, there are other groups to support and assist.
I don’t think this soldier has an “entitlement” mindset. In the video he genuinely doesn’t understand why he’s not getting a better grade. Maybe that’s because he’s compared what he’s getting to others in the class.
Keep your propagandist crap. I know soldiers.
They're doing a fine job of exposing this vile hatred of our veterans. I'm sure the instructor is unaccustomed to students who stand up for what they believe. The mush-heads who matriculate to college right out of high school are easily manipulated. Veterans are another matter.
Looked back a month or so at his history, and it is perfectly clear that gracesdad is a liberal. He is civil though, no left wing ranting, so I am not sure if this is considered kosher here at FR. Perhaps the Mods will chime in on this.
I’m just responding to what I’ve seen on this thread.
It’s just too tied in to the whole “you might be dangerous because of your opinion” school.
I went to a liberal college. You know how you deal with it? You become president of the debate team and right a conservative column in the college newspaper. You challenge absurd assertions with facts. Then, you don’t really get messed with, because they know it could get ugly.
Not ugly in the sense that violence is incited. Ugly in the sense that you can and know how to raise a ruckus if a prof tries to steamroll over you.
It actually worked out well with some professors who, though they might have disagreed with me, appreciated my exercising of free speech.
You’re supposed to THINK in college. Or, that used to be what it was about.
But going after the soldiers? Excuse me, but after hearing Rosie O’Donnell call them uneducated criminals and Bill Maher refer to them as rapists? I’ve had all I can take.
...that, obviously, should have read “write a conservative column”...either a Freudian slip or my passion got the better of me.
You showed more restraint and decorum towards that Brit Journalism Dean than I would have.
The minute he finished his epithet, he might have found himself in dire need of emergency dental repair.
People like him never learn lessons if they are never properly “taught”.
The least I would have allowed him to escape with (as a price for his crudity and disrespect) would have been a hard “hurry-up” kick in the rear as he turned his back on me.
A.A.C.
“I have 4 kids now and 1 is in college, 3 to go, but NONE will be going to a school like this I assure you!”
They are ALL like this.
AAC—The problem is that they know military people are by definition disciplined. They also will scream bloody murder if you say or do anything they find “offensive”.
Having said that, and given the hijacking of our country by the left, I intend to very much more—let’s say—proactive to these kinds of affronts in the future.
It’s the same in most American Universities. The left has, with cunning and determination, captured American education. It has also captured unions, the environmental movement and the media. And, I daresay, it has captured the GOP. RINOs are nothing but demrats calling themselves something else.
How about a training film on how to deal with worrisome leftist professors? They’re a bigger problem.

The left and its minions in the universtities and in the press are so uttterly revolting when it comes to vets.
Like the “suicide issue.” Young males have far higher suicide rates than the rest of the population. I wonder what the rate is among say, male community college students, or, say, males at State universities. Maybe the press should do a story on that.
They sometimes do. But I'd rather not see some liberal institution stereotyping our vets. Veterans' needs are much more respectfully addressed by people who don't have an axe to grind with the warriors sent off to fight our country's battles.
Oh.
My.
God.
I can barely believe it. The line “My personal beliefs have nothing to do with the way I treat you...” says volumes about the people who put this together.
Yeah. Right. Un. Be. Lievable.
Well said indeed.
no one writes like that...it’s a fake or a satire
As a courtesy I sent a copy of that note to the junior staffer who'd originally contacted me about the project. Two hours later I got irate e-mail from the boss, citing the online Merriam-Webster dictionary entry for "tar-baby" and informing me that the staffer I'd copied -- who was a recent hire, whom I'd spoken to on the phone but never met, and whose ethnic background had never crossed my mind, one way or the other -- was an African-American. And not only an African-American, but one who hadn't said a word to anyone about the offending term, such that the boss felt obliged to run hate-speech interference for her, concluding his note to me with a request not to write back: "In fact, it's better if you don't."
After composing a lengthy essay reviewing the historical, cultural, philological, political, and personal facets of the issue I decided he was right, and boiled the whole thing down to two sentences ("Dictionaries reflect the biases of the people who compile them" and "Political correctness will be the death of this country") that have been sitting, unsent, in my Drafts folder for the last five weeks. Needless to say, no other projects have been pitched to me in the interim.
