When you see gracesdad on a thread you can be 100% sure that he will have the most liberal opinion on thread, while also making sure to throw out a denigrating comment or two.

Looked back a month or so at his history, and it is perfectly clear that gracesdad is a liberal. He is civil though, no left wing ranting, so I am not sure if this is considered kosher here at FR. Perhaps the Mods will chime in on this.

I’m just responding to what I’ve seen on this thread.

It’s just too tied in to the whole “you might be dangerous because of your opinion” school.

I went to a liberal college. You know how you deal with it? You become president of the debate team and right a conservative column in the college newspaper. You challenge absurd assertions with facts. Then, you don’t really get messed with, because they know it could get ugly.

Not ugly in the sense that violence is incited. Ugly in the sense that you can and know how to raise a ruckus if a prof tries to steamroll over you.

It actually worked out well with some professors who, though they might have disagreed with me, appreciated my exercising of free speech.

You’re supposed to THINK in college. Or, that used to be what it was about.

But going after the soldiers? Excuse me, but after hearing Rosie O’Donnell call them uneducated criminals and Bill Maher refer to them as rapists? I’ve had all I can take.
