Well, yeah, it’s true that vets never come back from horrible war experiences with “issues.”

They sometimes do. But I'd rather not see some liberal institution stereotyping our vets. Veterans' needs are much more respectfully addressed by people who don't have an axe to grind with the warriors sent off to fight our country's battles.

I’m totally amazed that you or anybody else is upset that the liberal media (NPR, Salon, others) have written stories that have ended up HELPING hurting vets. Where was the conservative media on this story? On the conditions at Walter Reed? On the fact that soldiers were being electrocuted because of shoddy electrical work?

Oh, that’s right, wouldn’t want to embarrass the military bureaucrats.
