Fawcetts cancer spread to liver, producer says Former Charlie's Angels star, 62, has been battling disease since 2006
NEW YORK - Farrah Fawcett is being treated for anal cancer that has spread to her liver, a producer who worked with the actress said Monday in detailing a more serious situation than has previously been described.
In separate phone interviews with The Associated Press, Fawcetts producer and her doctor said that Fawcett is in a Los Angeles hospital, recovering from complications from a medical procedure in Germany, and is not on deaths door, as the producer put it.
She had a minor procedure. That procedure led to a small amount of bleeding into a muscle in her abdominal wall, which created a sac of blood that caused pressure and pain, said her Los Angeles cancer specialist, Dr. Lawrence Piro.
It was a simple procedure and a standard one, although Fawcett also has pursued experimental treatments in Germany, he added.

Much of which seems to have been brought on himself.
My Dad died of cancer of the liver in 1953. He went directly into the hospital after diagnosis, he died six weeks later. I was ten when he died. My Mom also died of cancer. My oldest brother had cancer which contributed to his death. I was diagnosed with cancer at age 53. I beat the odds.

PS I REALLY HATE CANCER!
Steve McQueen immediately comes to mind.
Also Andy Kaufman
What bums me out about Cheryl today, is that smile that was so prevalent in her CA years, seems to be forced today. She looks as if she hasn't had a very happy life.
Jacklyn Smith, who was a very close second to Cheryl, in my book, has aged well.
Just for you, mm. From her official site...
Thanyou.
That’s too bad. I love my Jill Monroe, I mean Farrah. =(
Bless her.
Not an easy way to die.
Cheryl has a long term second marriage and is at least still working and visible. Beyond that I cannot say how happy or unhappy she is. I posted a shot with her dog on another thread about this sad Farah story and she looks happy to me in it however.
Every time I see pictures of the old Charlie’s Angels cast, I always laugh at David Doyle. David Doyle would go into a spitting mad frenzy anytime someone would come up to him and say “Aren’t you Tom Bosley?” (the dad from “Happy Days”).
The primary challenge with anal/rectal cancer is getting good margins on tumor removal, given the limited space.
Wishing the best for the actress, will pray for her soul. Few survive metastatic disease to the liver.
Now NBC will ride her casket all the way to profits.
Yes, I think they called it Layatryl
