Obama's Attack Machine

By KIMBERLEY A. STRASSEL

The thing about fear is that you can see it. For an insight as to what the left today fears most, witness its attempted political assassination of Eric Cantor.

The 45-year-old Virginia congressman came to Washington in 2001, and by last year had been unanimously elected Republican Whip, under Minority Leader John Boehner.

In recent months, Mr. Cantor has helped unify the GOP against much of President Barack Obama's agenda, in particular his blowout $787 billion stimulus, and yesterday, his blowout $3.6 trillion budget.

He's also one of the GOP's up-and-coming talents. Along with Wisconsin's Paul Ryan, or California's Kevin McCarthy, he represents a new guard, one that's sworn off earmarks and brought the conversation back to fiscal responsibility and economic opportunity.

They've focused on party outreach, and are popular with younger voters and independents. They are big fund-raisers, part of a drive to recruit and elect more reformers. And they are on the rise.

All of which threatens the left. Democrats know their current dominance in Washington is in no small part due to public disillusionment with the GOP. They are also aware that their current tax-and-spend governance is creating plenty of opportunities for that opposition to remake itself.

Thus the furious campaign -- waged by every blog, pundit, union, 527, and even the White House -- to kneecap Republicans who might help lead a makeover. Mr. Cantor is the top target.

This kicked off after the GOP's unanimous vote against the stimulus, which Democrats saw as an opening to brand Mr. Cantor as the public face of partisan opposition to the "bipartisan" president.

Well, the national socialists may fear Cantor, but he has not stopped criminals from spending $4.5 Trillion in 2.5 months, not counting the $1 Trillion spent at G-20 this week. Not to mention the deficit spend in future years for the budget tripling the national debt.

I for one am sick of hearing those revolting rap songs playing in every public place I enter. I am tired of horrible service by “people of color.” Does no one remember the Union Army? Must we pay double triple quadruple because of our skin color? Folk that.

I’m hoping the Eric Cantor, perhaps the only Jewish Republican in Congress, will turn out to be like the Jewish resistance fighters of Sobibor concentration camp, of the Warsaw Ghetto, of the forests of Russia and Poland, and of the American concentration camp liberators - fighters all.

No more meek surrender to the forces of the totalitarians.

As a Jew and an American, I want Cantor to fight for all Americans, for America, but also to show that he is one Jew who isn’t giving in the self-haters of Emanuel and Axelrod, and their marxist minions.

Go Eric. Act like Rep. Sam Steiger, and tell the Democrats to go to hell. And then help send them there.

There are other Jewish Republicans in Congress. Unfortunately, they are weak: Arlen Specter and Norm Coleman (if he survives) come to mind. There may be some in the House but I’m not familiar with them.

What insanity drove us to this moment?

This was an election bought by Globalist Foreign Money.

Fraudulent ballots by Acorn.

Aided and abetted by the AP (Always Propaganda) and the MSN (3 blind mice + Commie News Network).

The fix was in, and even aided by some Rhino Republicans.

The Sheeple did this and we will all pay a terrible price.

I for one didn't elect this guy. But in answer to your question i would say BO was elected because people were anxious to show how non-racist they were.

Really keeping up with The 0ne leads you to a logical conclusion that current real life is an actual Conspiracy Theory, where Truth = fiction and fiction = truth. And here we thought “The Matrix” was only sci-fi.

Along with Wisconsin's Paul Ryan, or California's Kevin McCarthy, he represents a new guard,

McCarty has done a bunch of things I like. He was part of the rebellious Republicans who keep on talking about energy even after Pelosi turned off the lights. He's he voted against the first "stimulus bill" before the election and all the other nonsense since then.

McCarthy sounds like a good guy... Did he vote against the Bill of Attainder law, too? That’s what REALLY bugs me about the Republicans in Congress, frankly. I personally don’t think they are doing enough to stop these things. And, in many cases they are HELPING them do all of this (Like Snowe and her bill to let Obama shut down the internet)

As far as I’m concerned any Republican who voted for the Stimulus bills, or the takeover of economic agencies, or the Bill of Attainder law is just as bad as the Democrats, and should be thrown out on their butts as well... Unfortunately, IIRC, Cantor voted for the Bill of Attainder law, too (I think Ryan did as well but I’d have to look back over the tally to be sure on that).

I’m also tired of hearing people defending these Republicans saying it was a “political move”. There is nothing positive “politically” when you vote to destroy or ignore the Constitution. So, just in case someone wants to defend their vote on that particular bill, don’t bother telling me that they wanted to “punish” the people who took the bailout money, or that it was a “political vote”, because that just won’t wash with me...

They still haven’t figured out that Obama will destroy their groups just like he’ll try to destroy ours, have they? They need to study more history. The most outspoken, even those who AGREE with the dictator at first, are silenced just as quickly as those against...

“are silenced just as quickly as those against...”

Yes. Stalin and Hitler moved against those of the old order and also their competitors and allies. Example: Trotsky and the German Chancellor. So, this 3D chess is being played along 3 fronts: opponents, co-conspirators and the public.

BTW, there must be something big going on when Axelrod will be on Sunday talk, which he will be tomorrow.
