I don’t think so. First of all Rasmussen is much closer to reality than Gallup (he nailed the election, Gallup — was way off).

Second, the Strongly Disapprove number is a flytrap. It is hard to reverse those people to become voters of yours — in fact, they are basically the ‘base’ of the opposition candidate if we had one to field. Same with Strongly Approve — those people will NEVER vote for the opposition candidate. Most everyone else can be up for grabs.

This is a good metric for telling us how hard it will be resist Obama. Once his Strongly Disapprove numbers hit 40% it’ll be easier to twist the arms of Moderate Democrats.

Unfortunately I am not in charge of those decisions ... I’ll bring it up to the CEO. These people weren’t targeted as being Obama voters (our CEO is a big Liberal socially). I just know there are only about 6 of us who didn’t vote for Obama in the whole company, and we’re safe for now.

We also are the harder workers for the most part. Imagine that!

BTW, Rasmussen does have him at 56% approval rating. This is just the Presidential Approval Index that Rasmussen does.

Obama is the drunken frat boy in the bar that keeps telling the bartender to give everybody another round.

Because he is using someone else's credit card.

From the graph, his positive support seems to be steady/dropping slightly, but his nagatives are rapidly and dramatically increasing. How many of those folks in the red bar voted for ‘change’ and found the results less than desireable, I wonder?

-—Fortunately, I believe he’ll have a LOT of attrition of the next few months from his appointees, and the larger part of his “plans” will have to be scrapped, including those that would force us to give up our sovereignty.
Especially that part of it, the sovereignty part, and all the creepy New World Order features that are now being introduced to the American people through the noises coming out of the G20 summit. It will prove to be a measure of JUST HOW OUT OF TOUCH HE IS,and THEY ARE with what is still a majority of the American People, that they will NOT BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE MASSIVE BACKLASH REACTION THAT WILL ENSUE as soon as it becomes evident where we are being pushed. ———

I sure hope you are right, but I’m with a lot of the other posters who feel like the majority of Americans just don’t know or care anymore. I think many might just say, “huh sovereignty? what’s that??? Oh, you mean no more wars, world peace, more free stuff? Cool!”

Good news, thanks. I’ve noticed that the MSM is trying to build up the ratings for both Obama and his wife during their european trip. A visit with the Queen? A queen meets a queen, and I’m not talking about Michelle.

This country is very near the tipping point of 50% of the voting public not paying any income tax. 0 will push us over the edge...

No he won't, he'll mandate a cut in government spending even greater then the loss of revenue.

We are safe and secure in the TOTUS's hands.

Soon we will experience the greatest tax cut our nation has ever seen!

I’m reading Atlas Shrugged, right now, and it’s really depressing me, because it doesn’t offer any salvation from the tyranny of ignorance and greed. “Looters” is what Ayn Rand calls the progressive fools.

"That picure of zerO’s butt up in the air before the King of Saudi Arabia..."

Around here, that's called "Assuming The Position."

That photo was a pitch-perfect distillation of our situation, IMHO. Our enemies are lubin' up.

"...Bush will get the blame all the way to 2012 or God help us until 2016..."

Unfortunately, Bush deserves considerable condemnation for his domestic stewardship. Sure, Obama is making it worse, much worse. But Bush set the stage. It's healthy to admit it.

Sadly we have to give 6 of our 30 person workforce pink slips this week. The only thing that makes it bearable is that I know they were all Obama voters.

Yeah, there's a little schadenfreude in cases like that. I also tell cigarette-smoking Obama supporters that they should be loving the new SCHIP tax.

I also truly am repulsed by anyone whom I think may have voted liberal.

They are repulsive. Now we see where they really stood all these years.

They just didn't like others to be fascist. They wanted to be the fascists, but probably a benign kind in their minds.

The problem is that there are no benign fascists.

Either citizens have rights and freedoms or the government sequesters those rights and increases its power.

Go to a Tea Party April 15. I think it's a good start to put faces on these disapproval numbers.

Jack Cafferty on CNN has a crush on MO and Matthews just can’t get over how glamourous they are. The fawning has gone over the top. They are trying too hard to make that grinning fool and Aunt Esther look good. They must know he is just tanking somewhere in the polls.
