"Abortion is a Blessing" (New Dean of Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge)
Via Media ^ | 3/30/2009 | Amy Welborn

Posted on 04/01/2009 11:24:13 AM PDT by mojito

The Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge has unanimously elected a new dean, Dr. Katherine Ragsdale.

Chris Johnson at the Midwest Conservative Journal posts:

How radically pro-abortion is Katie Rags? This radically pro-abortion:

"And when a woman becomes pregnant within a loving, supportive, respectful relationship; has every option open to her; decides she does not wish to bear a child; and has access to a safe, affordable abortion - there is not a tragedy in sight -- only blessing. The ability to enjoy God's good gift of sexuality without compromising one's education, life's work, or ability to put to use God's gifts and call is simply blessing.

These are the two things I want you, please, to remember - abortion is a blessing

and our work is not done. Let me hear you say it: abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done.

I want to thank all of you who protect this blessing - who do this work every day: the health care providers, doctors, nurses, technicians, receptionists, who put your lives on the line to care for others (you are heroes -- in my eyes, you are saints); the escorts and the activists; the lobbyists and the clinic defenders; all of you. You're engaged in holy work."

This is why I no longer attend, or give to the Episcopal/Church of England.

They are not a Christian faith, in my opinion. And to all you out there still attending and tithing, consider the horror of losing your soul to this kind of blasphemy.

Ragsdale is demonic, she has embraced death and revels in it, she is stone hearted and an author of confusion. She has a sickness of soul that corrupts the innocent. I would not allow her within sight of any child or grandchild of mine. And I shudder to think what will happen should she not avail herself of God’s great mercy.

“....The ability to enjoy God’s good gift of sexuality without compromising one’s education, life’s work, or ability to put to use God’s gifts and call is simply blessing”
_________________________________________________________

Notice that there is NO acknowledgement of one’s RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTIBILITY. Heaven forbid! That would compromise one’s education, life’s work.....and would taint “God’s good gift of sexualty”

The apostacy is at hand and in full force!!!!

The utter heinousness of these statements staggers me.

I've always heard that abortion is one of the "sacraments" of the Left. I guess that wasn't an exaggeration.

I was hoping it was yet another bad April Fool piece. Guess not. Nicely done, Episcopals — naming a queer as your lead bishop, now this.

How do they rate bestiality or pedophilia? Just wondering...

How is murder a blessing? Somebody needs to go back to Genesis 9:6, and read it very carefully!

Abortion is a blessing, eh?

How do you plan on explaining that position to the Almighty when you finally see him?

“This is why I no longer attend, or give to the Episcopal/Church of England.

Were they ever? I’ve never known an Episcopalian who hadn’t already sold out to leftist politics, moral cowardice, and Catholic-lite theology.

Looks like she got a nice clean shave this morning at least. This is one of dozens of reasons that so many former Episcopalians are now Anglicans or Catholics.

okay, what next?

Bringing the message viral, infection of previously healthy congregations, taking over their assets, abusing and scarring the souls of more of God's children, causing some to despair and flee. They serve to hasten the Day of Judgment.

At least for now we weren’t in the same country where this evil was uttered. I would move far far away from someone like this, in case of a lightning strike. I pray for mercy for mine and the few righteous people in the US. Please spare us from the outpouring of wrath that is to come.

Those witches are way too cute.

This is more like it:

Give the new dean a ragged dress and she'll fit right in.

They put their souls on the line, Lord have mercy. Or better yet, Jesus come soon.
