The man who created two phenomenally successful "We The People" YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against Congress and reclaim their republic now or perhaps lose it forever reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.
Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube, has created videos in which he portrays Thomas Paine, author of the "Common Sense" pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution.
Basso, whose website offers his services as a motivational speaker, uses the YouTube presentations to condemn "non-representing representatives" and warns, "Only when they feel the almighty wrath of 'We The People' marching in the streets from California to New York shouting 'We're mad as hell and we want our country back' will they get the message they work for you."

This man is brilliant
He has bravery; and he is doing something with it ...
Pray for Him.
Support him.
Don't fool yourselves. Obama doesn't want to shut this man down. Obama wants to champion and promote this man's "popular vote" position. Look for more from Brasso touting the "popular vote" vs electoral college shtick.
They probably called him in to tell him to can it or his grandchildren might start having fatal “accidents”.
This story was begging for this graphic.
I would only accept if they WH agreed that it could be video taped and shown on You-tube.
He also called for mandatory service, another thing on Obama’s wish list. I was all for the video in the first half, then really disappointed with the second half. Perhaps it’s time to don the tin foil...
Basso Profundo!!
mark
Yes, I noticed those two bits: Mandatory “military” service and an end to the electoral college. But those were only two small pieces of his whole presentation. The rest of the video I watched was quite inspiring. If he actually goes to the white house, he’ll just pick up more material for another video. I doubt he’ll turn into an obamabot.
Bob Basso is very good.
I suspect that Obama and his freaks know that they can’t destroy him and that his message is very powerful, so they want him to come in for one last attempt to find chinks in his armor, OR they are going to beg, threaten and try to buy him off.
You're a coward?
Right on including tag line. I knew as I read through the posts that someone would nail my thoughts on this.
WOW. You guys are all into this. Am i the only one here who is going to call BS on this. Obama has nothing to gain from meeting or talking with this guy. It only sheds light on his message and gives him more publicity. His handlers would never allow it, he would find it personally distasteful and besides I think his schedule is a lttile to full for you-tube pundits. Although maybe he’ll squeeze it in after his Rush Limbaugh debate and before he sits down for his interview with Mark Levin.

Oh Boy, real Mobocracy! I say we end up with ‘Idiocracy’!
Granted, but obviously it isn’t “unpresidential” for this nut to do whatever the hell he wants to do - you know like ignoring the constitution.
This is awesome!
He’s a goober. The whole thing is loaded with errors but it might rouse the rabble.
Both Bush 41 and 43, Cheney, and countless others have been on his show, its intelligent conversation.
To equate Leno with Rush is strait, well I'm looking for a decent word here, I'll just say imbecilic.
...and stay away from Barney or you'll really be screwed!
