President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, touching off an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.
His remarks came in a 60 Minutes interview in which he was pressed by an incredulous Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the worlds economy.
You're sitting here. And you're you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, "I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money How do you deal with I mean: explain. . . Kroft asks at one point.
Are you punch drunk? Kroft says.
No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day, Obama says, with a laugh.

Well then I agree with you. I supported and voted for McStupid, but I no longer give him the time of day.

Has respect for the office sank so low?
I agree, no need for that.
what piggish video was that where he was showing his stuff?
.
LOL!
Being fluent in Obonics, I can interpret this:
"We will govern out of anger".
They ran the 60 Minutes clip again on FOXNEWS tonight. He looked high or stoned. Wired. That did not look like just normal laughing. Either he's hitting the sauce, doing bong hits, or lines of something. Maybe a Speedball on top of a few stiff drinks. The laughter and affect looked strange.

You guys think the Repubs marginalized Bush because he became a political liability? Look at BO 2 months in!!! Hes a laughing stock this is with certainty the most incompetent Presidency EVER.
I predict a lot of those Dems in Congress are going to jump his ship. They are going to see that hitching their wagons to this guy is going to be like hitchhiking on a whale turd.
“Oh you silly people, quit worrying about all this, You people just need to settle down and see what I have in store for you, you silly silly people who want to criticize me, I'm the one that was ELECTED president don't you remember?”
I googled obama + punch + drunk and it was over 1 million hits!!!!
We aren't nominating and supporting the best candidates. We're supporting and nominating the ones who hang around until it's there turn at bat.
There are two factors at work here.
The first is that there has not been a truly satisfactory conservative candidate that all conservatives could unite behind. Romney, Huckabee, Hunter, Thompson, et al all had appeal to a segment of conservatives -- fiscal conservatives went for Romney, social conservatives favored Huckabee, national security conservatives found themselves left with McCain.
The second is that there is a segment of the GOP -- the country clubbers and Chamber of Commercers -- who don't want the social conservatives to even be a part of the party. They were happy, yea, delighted with McCain The Moderate. And see where that got us...
Conservatives desperately need to unite behind somebody. And we desperately need somebody that warrants our uniting behind...
For sure, that's nobody who ran in 2008. It could be Palin...or Jindal...or somebody else...in 2012. But we need a conservative candidate!
