President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, touching off “an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.”
His remarks came in a “60 Minutes” interview in which he was pressed by an incredulous Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the world’s economy.
“You're sitting here. And you're— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, "I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money—” How do you deal with— I mean: explain. . .” Kroft asks at one point.
“Are you punch drunk?” Kroft says.
“No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama says, with a laugh.

Obama laughed at every question! Not just the economy. When he did not laugh he was smirking.Interviewer was very serious.

Again, it’s all about him. So what if he belittles the problems of Americans, people who have lost their jobs, homes, etc.? Making jokes about people’s suffering and hardship gets him through the day.

I bet that pi**ed Bozo off but he had to hold it together in order not to look any dumber in more insensitive then he did already.
what’s the consensus from those that watching/are watching it??? Was Kroft generally soft on him or was the punch drunk comment, and any other comment, really a sign the media is turning on him??

Kroft seemed serious and it was an appropriate response to how Obama was lightly communicating.
My vote is for narcissism coupled with his third world radical view.
Bottom line: whitey has it coming. And he’s the deliverer of the revenge to the Republic.
Which he will cripple in short order. If he is unopposed.
