Video on link.
I think we need to listen to them all, form informed opinions and when primary season starts try and have intelligent discussions on the pros and cons of each candidate without forming bands of warriors to get the people we disagree with banned from FR... that is utopian, I know, but that is what we should do to return this country to sanity before it’s too late. No one candidate is going to be perfect, no one walks on water and we have to get past the requirement for them to do so..
Except for McCain.
I sincerely hope he doesn't try to run again in 2012, but I wouldn't put it past him.
rab he isn’t going to run for POTUS again. He appears to be trying to be relevant in the opposition party and like he did in the election he takes one step forward and then two steps back. HE will likely be re-elected to the senate so he isn’t going away, but his POTUS dreams are over.
You certainly are perceptive. The same poster of this article posted another one that praised Mitt Romney and gave a back-handed slap to Jindal.

It said, in part: Looking backward, it should have been Romney, not Gov. Bobby Jindal, offering the official GOP response to President Obamas address. And going forward, Romney should be the GOPs go-to economic spokesman for media interviews.
Gotta try to eliminate anyone else from consideration as early as possible if a candidate as weak as Mitt Romney has a snowball's chance.
Nonsense. It is not a smear to point out the incredibly stupid and asinine mistakes the guys on "our side" keep making.
In the case of Sanford's comment about Limbaugh's statement he clearly demonstrated that he either never listened to it first-hand or read a full transcript. If he had he would have understood that Rush was explaining that if Obama "succeeds" in his agenda, then America, at least the America we all profess to love, dies. It is only if Obama "fails" that the Constitutional Republic to which we pledge allegiance has even a chance to avoid the destruction we're hurtling towards like an out-of-control freight train.
What Sanford instead showed was that he was lazy, that instead of doing his own research, or even bothering to call and talk with Rush, he took the media's version and spin of Rush's comments as accurate and decided he'd try to score some cheap points with the MSM by posing as a "sensible", "moderate" or "reasonable" GOP "leader".
On the other hand, if Sanford actually was aware of the complete quote, context and explanation delineated by Limbaugh, and still decided to take this shot, then that's even worse, because it shows that Sanford, despite his authentic conservative credentials on certain matters, e.g. economics, either does not comprehend the totality of the war to destroy the Republic which is being waged by our domestic enemies, including the current administration, Congress and media, or else he does understand but lacks the courage and will to stand up and fight them, and doesn't really believe or have the necessary commitment to the principles he proclaims to hold dear.
Limbaugh is not picking fights with "our guys" - they are the ones picking fights with him in a futile effort to curry favor with a media and the Left which fully intends to destroy them no matter what they do, no matter how "reasonable" or "moderate" they try to appear.
What Rush IS doing is holding their feet to the fire, burning away the slag and dross of their desperately evasive, contradictory, wishy-washy and cowardly attempts to straddle every fence and finesse every issue. He's telling them that this is no longer politics as usual, the game has changed, the hour is very late, and it's time for them to find their spines, to stand-up for their avowed principles, and to aggressively take the fight to the enemy.
They, of course, don't like it, they're terrified, and they stupidly think that by helping their mortal enemies "make Rush go away" they'll be able to make this dire reality go away as well.
Please see my post #46. While your assessment of the motive of the poster may be correct, it is irrelevant to the issue of the serious mistake Sanford has made.
By either failing, or worse, refusing to correctly characterize and respond accurately and substantively to Rush's statement, Sanford demonstrates a serious lack of some combination of understanding, judgment and commitment to principle.
Neither Romney supporters nor the orcs of the Left will be able to destroy Sanford, Jindal, or others unless they themselves keep giving them the ammunition. The fact that they keep doing so is the real cause for concern.
Has one single Republican called any of the luminaries on Air America, Keith Olbermann, Rachael Maddow or Katie Couric an idiot? Have any of them stood up to that slimy degenerate Barney Frank, or even intimated that he’s deflecting attention from his own malfeasance? I swear, sometimes Republicans remind me in their behavior of those terrified Bath party members that were being denounced by Saddam Hussein at the podium and then led off by his “security men.”
>> “[x] Other $10”
>> “This represents the amount of $ left in my 401k”
Sadly brilliant!
Why is this being posted now, since it happened a long time ago? And why are we posting Think Progress propoganda at Free Republic?
Frankly, I’m confused by Mark Sanford’s actions and statements.
He attended the last Bilderberger’s meeting and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations(CFR). This is not what I consider consistent behavior with that of a true Conservative like Ronald Reagan. And attacking Rush Limbaugh was plainly stupid!
He has an agenda against Mark Sanford since he wants Romney to be the 2012 nominee.
NO. The conservative people sat on their arses & let it happen. When anyone warned them of this outcome yrs back you would have been thought of as kook. Liberty takes a commitment that the lazies didn't want to fight. They just wanted to "get along" with the enemy. Now all they want to do is post & reply on web sites rather than rioting in the streets. BTW these sickos in D.C. could care less about your E-mails but they have gotten the message in France
Thank you for telling the truth..
If the Democrats succeed in driving him from the air, wouldn't it be sweet to see him exact his revenge with a 2012 Palin/Limbaugh or Limbaugh/Palin (I don't care which) ticket?
That would be so sweet.
That’s friggin awesome :)
