The Obamas to eat what they grow

The Obama family plan to eat what they grow in the White House in the future

US First Lady Michelle Obama is set to break the ground for an organic garden on a patch of the south lawn to grow produce for the White House kitchen.

Local primary school pupils will help her with the planting and harvesting of the vegetables, herbs and salad crops.

Promoting healthy eating for American families has become a part of the first lady's agenda.

She has promised her whole family will be getting involved, and even President Barack Obama will help with weeding. Mrs Obama hopes that inspiring children will help spread the healthy eating message to others.

"My hope is that through children, they will begin to educate their families and that will, in turn, begin to educate our communities," she said in an interview in her East Wing office.

Has she been living under a rock her whole life? She has never gardened before and she thinks that she is going to grow food for the masses on the White House lawn.

She doesn't know anything about gardening, OBVIOUSLY! Just like her husband doesn't know anything about governing the country either!

They are making complete fools of themselves!!!

I’m trying to imagine my children educating me... or my grandchildren... I think I will stick to helping them do their homework, provided they don’t demand I grow a garden with all the vegetables they won’t eat, organic or fertilized from the gasiest cow in the herd!

Probably have to post a guard around the garden to keep Hillary from sneaking there at night to ‘fertilize’ the vege’s by squatting her big ass down and taking a dump.

Neighborhood gardens will be planted on urban land parcels which are confiscated from evil capitalist owners.

The power of the federal government can induce and finance local municipalities to do things which the residents alone do not condone.

CDBG (Community Development Block Grants) are handed out by HUD, if a town meets its “affordable housing goals” for instance.

Eminent domain can be used, to confiscate properties, for local public good. Fair market compensation can be manipulated with bogus appraisals.

So keep eyes out for what your locals city, county and state government folks do it the next years.

Ok...so the kids will be out there in their uniforms, serving their 3 years in the “mandatory voluntary” service program. Michele will oversee and occasionally put on some gloves for a photo op. Got it.

How about this, then? Neither Zerobama nor MissHell will set foot in this garden except when there are photographers about.

Whats next chickens in the Oval Office?

They can put those right by the 'swing set' and 'the garden' that I'm sure will be attended by White House staff. NOTHING surprises me with these people!

Soon they'll be growing, spinning and looming their own cotton to make their own clothes.

They'll show us all how to subsistence-live...they don't know how to run the country anyway...turn it over to Emmanuel.

Do we know for sure that she has not gardened before? Or at least played at gardening?

I agree that it’s mostly for show—you can’t take care of a vegetable garden that really puts food on the table except by putting in at least several hours a day. You have to pay steady attention to things to get edible results in any quantity.

Those who say she’ll never get her hands dirty are going a bit too far. I’m quite sure she will, but largely for show. Someone else will actually have to be in charge of this garden. But I think we overreach if we assume that she won’t actually be involved at all.

And most of the people in the demographic the Axelrod cabal are aiming at won’t know difference between what’s for show and what’s not.

If I’d take the time to learn how, I’d post a picture of a cotton ball. OK. SMACK ME. I am so effing sick of these PEOPLE and their media whoring.

And these are the same people who expect to making growing gardens a crime for us peons.

The Mayor of Los Alamitos, CA was forced to resign after he sent an email depicting the White House lawn as a watermelon patch.

Guess he wasn’t far from wrong.
