The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a plan to set up a new "volunteer corps" and consider whether "a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people" should be developed.

There is a bill in the house, introduced by Alcee Hastings (Rat-Florida), National Emergency Centers Act HR 645. It would convert old military bases and existing camp facilities into emergency centers to be run by the Dept. of Homeland Security. If Obama’s youth service corps were to merge with Homeland Security, we could be in real trouble.

Not even that is needed - it was made "presumable as inapplicable" by the use of the word "individual."
Congress is out of their minds. They can’t pay for anything now, and they want to add this. The Democrats are totally irresponsible, and don’t seem to have a brain in their collective heads.

We need to get a former JAG attorney who is in private practice to get a case to SCOTUS for the military about his BC and more importantly his failure at being NBC because of his British citizen father.
The youth rebelling against it. Don;t bank on it. They will get iPods, free wireless and MTV and they will rush to it. They will also get money and salaries for their “volunteering.”
The youth will love this. Just like the youth in cambodia who murdered their parents under Pol Pot.

I doubt they’re ignorant. They just want to be seen as being on the “side of the angels”. Call it public service, and it’s supposed to be something good. It’s just another part of an authoritarian Federal government.

What’s interesting is that all kinds of political activity is prohibited, which, of course, would mean political activity for non-rats.
The rats are already getting all the promotion they need by providing the indentured servants with all these goodies of health care, jobs, education, food, whatever and taking credit for it, so they don’t need to have people campaign for them.

were they actual votes for the legislation in supporting it, or perhaps mere proceedural votes concerning debate on the matter. hopefully the latter in the case of the republican caucus.
