Rush and Bernie Goldberg on Palin Derangement Syndrome
Rush via Conservatives4Palin ^ | March 19, 2009 | R. A. Mansour

Posted on 03/18/2009 11:30:05 PM PDT by SolidWood

Brian72 has provided us with an excerpt of an interview featured in the March edition of the Limbaugh Letter. Rush interviewed Bernard Golberg about his latest book, "A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media."

RUSH: I know there is a contempt; Joe the Plumber was one of the most illustrative examples. Here you've got this poor guy who's minding his own business, an Obama rally ends up next to him. So he asks a question. And it was not a question that was pre-approved. It was not an approved question, period. And so the Democrats go into action with the assistance of the media to destroy this guy.

GOLDBERG: Correct.

RUSH: They look into his private records at the state. They find out where his tax liens are. They do everything they can to destroy this guy's reputation -- while at the same time they are concerned as hell that we might be monitoring phone calls from terrorists in Baghdad and elsewhere who might be planning attacks on the United States. But it's clearly fine for them to go out and destroy an Ohio citizen who dared ask a question of Obama that might embarrass him or expose one of his ideas that he was trying to cover up. And there was no compassion for what was done to this little guy-- and yet the liberals claim to stand for the little guy.

Palin is so lovely because she is the perfect combination of beauty, brains and heart.

Right on. Plus she has executive experience. Something Hillary, Obama, and McCain had none of.

A Cornerstone, for the new conservative party in 2012.

By then the American people will be ready for real honest change they can count on.

I suppose it sort of could do that...the idea is “my (our?) support is carved in stone.”

I’m a third-shifer and just got home (having some ice cream before bedtime) so I’m a little thick.

Why XLV (45)?

You are right. Someone I had thought was a friend went postal over two things I said. One was that I said “that’s your opinion” when she declared “there is no God”. The other was that I said “that’s intolerant” when she said she said she hated to drive to her brother’s house because she had to go down a street with a lot of McCain signs. I was supposed to apologize for these offenses of not valuing and respecting her views. I just couldn’t do it. So friend no more. They are nutz!

Sarah has to spend the next 3+ years really reading, studying, learning the policy stuff COLD because that is what the media are going to NAIL her on. I mean literally crucify her with it.

Sarah is certainly intelligent enough and while this stuff bores most normal, healthy, emotionally balanced people (a/k/a Conservatives) she has to become something of a "wonk" to get through a campaign. She can hire all the consultants she needs to become the most informed person on the planet--a feminine Hillary.

She must beat them at their own game . . . and they will not be expecting her to have a handle on the "issues" and they will have to completely retool their attack plans. It'll will send their heads spinning.

I agree. Might I suggest she learn the Alinsky book inside and out so she’ll know what is coming at her and how to counter act it.

Response to post 16. Is there anyone here who can photoshop the fourth picture here with every known liberal female politician’s head on it and post it every place you can find to debunk it?

Newbie? Oh wait I know, you're one of those “geniuses” that seems to believe that the longer one is a member of a forum the more learned or informed they become.

Listen up, micro brain, mine is an opinion and like any opinion worth its salt it is formed from personal experience over the long haul. Women excel in many areas that a man cannot compete in effectively. Child rearing is one of them. But they are woefully ill equipped in other areas for the most part. These would include making decisions based on facts in evidence rather then symbolism, hope, and media brainwashing as well as voting for an empty suit simply because he black and it would be "a nice thing to do". While these weaknesses are present in both men and women they are far more in evidence in women. This is reflected in all the polling both pre and post election and really is not open to question in any serious way

BTW, what exactly IS the time frame one must be a member of FR in order to escape the condemnation of a long time ans very, very smart individual such as yourself

I first heard about Governor Palin when researching ANWR. Her work in Alaska - working on pipeline, fighting corruption, returning tax money to citizens - caught my eye. Never in a million years would I have thought she would be nominated VP.

At the time I did not know what she looked like. The fact that she is attractive inside and out is a bonus. But on the issues that really count: sound energy policy, taxes, corruption, etc she is heads and shoulders above the other looneys with their cap and trade nonsense that will destroy our already fragile economy.

You may not like Palin for her looks or her “down home” qualities. I think both are positives. But at least look at where she stands on the issues and stop letting the mainstream media dictate your opinion. Use your brain for once. And by all means ignore all these astroturfers working on sites like this to destroy her.

You don't expect me to take you serious, do you?

You think anyone gives a rat's rear about your assertion that women are genetically inferior and unqualified to make decisions, based on your "long haul experience with women"? Maybe you met the wrong women in your life. *shrug*

This categorization and reduction of the individual to it's sex and genetical "equipment" is remniscient of liberal and other unsavory thinking.

symbolism, hope, and media brainwashing as well as voting for an empty suit simply because he black and it would be "a nice thing to do".

Just wow. Killer argument there! Sounds like a lot of men... while there were many women voting Republican. Odd. Methinks you want to deny the majority of the population (yes there are more women) their vote, because some of them don't vote the way you want.

How about taking the right to vote from Catholics, Blacks, Hispanics and Jews? After all they also tend to vote for the wrong side.

As I said above, if there should be a reform of the electoral system, canceling out the illegal, "stupid" and "welfare leech" vote, all three destructive to a freedom based republic, make proof of citizenship, civic knowledge and work for a certain amount of years mandatory.

You’ve got it.

XLV = 45.

Sarah will be our 45th President, being sworn in on January 20, 2013.

C% = 100 percent.
