Brian72 has provided us with an excerpt of an interview featured in the March edition of the Limbaugh Letter. Rush interviewed Bernard Golberg about his latest book, "A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media."
RUSH: I know there is a contempt; Joe the Plumber was one of the most illustrative examples. Here you've got this poor guy who's minding his own business, an Obama rally ends up next to him. So he asks a question. And it was not a question that was pre-approved. It was not an approved question, period. And so the Democrats go into action with the assistance of the media to destroy this guy.
GOLDBERG: Correct.
RUSH: They look into his private records at the state. They find out where his tax liens are. They do everything they can to destroy this guy's reputation -- while at the same time they are concerned as hell that we might be monitoring phone calls from terrorists in Baghdad and elsewhere who might be planning attacks on the United States. But it's clearly fine for them to go out and destroy an Ohio citizen who dared ask a question of Obama that might embarrass him or expose one of his ideas that he was trying to cover up. And there was no compassion for what was done to this little guy-- and yet the liberals claim to stand for the little guy.

no that’s not really it. Their problem is that these are cool names and conservatives are not supposed to give cool names to their kids. They should be named “Ezekiel” and “Gertrude.” People like Sarah are ‘supposed’ to look like the church lady and her husband is ‘supposed’ to look like Boss Hogg from the Dukes of Hazzard.

oh, I’m so glad he doesn’t... ;^)
but the liberals *need* conservatives to look like that. They love the fat guy that does his corny little dance at the RNC. They then say “now those old men want to control YOUR body!”
And it’s true. There are a lot of conservatives whose image can be used as a weapon against our ideas. Why bother debating when it’s easier to use a bad picture?

There are many things that I do understand but the one thing I don’t understand is why women would throw themselves at the feet of the Messiah as they did with Hitler. And no matter how bad the economy gets, they would still vote for Obama, feeling they are more comfortable with Obama and very uncomfortable with Palin. What makes so many women ‘uncomfortable’ with Palin? Abortion! Is it really that simple?
it’s not really that simple. After a very long campaign with Hillary as a possible prez, they were offended by McCain for picking someone out of ‘nowhere’ just 2 months before the election.
Not that I really give a cr*p about whether you like C4P or not... but would you care to elaborate?
