Marie Gardner, a past President of The Gold Star Mothers past away last friday and I thought others should know about her passing. What surprised me about this is, I did a search for an article and was dumbfounded...not a peep, nada,nothing in the news. A woman who met Presidents, spoke nationally, received awards...nothing! God Bless this woman. my grandmother who passed at 98 yrs old was a Gold Star Mother having lost her youngest of 5 boys at the age of 18 in korea after surviving the inchon invasion and the chosin resivoir.
Why am I not surprised? Could it be I do not expect more from our corrupt “news”media? All of their news is skewed to the left(including Fox)and the left abhors anything to do with the military. Please note, I said news, not commentary. I listen to both Fox news and ABC news on my radio and damned if I can tell the difference. Both have some breathless newsbabe that sounds like she is trying to seduce some guy in a bar instead of simply READING the news.

There’s nothing on their website either. I guess that means the GSM doesn’t care either. Sheesh.

A hero in her own way who never sought media attention. Perhaps she saw our modern media for what they are and purposely shunned those who weren’t fit to polish her kids’ boots.

Well, you did better then putting her in the media...you put her in the hearts and minds of people who really care. I am sure God has illuminated her path for an easy journey to sit beside him.
May here soul rest in peace with HIM.
