Really, what is up with Barney Frank? A few days ago, I noted what a sourpuss performance he put in on Fox News Sunday. The Massachusetts Dem was back at it this morning, first correcting, then snapping at his Early Show host, Maggie Rodriguez.
The topic was, of course, the AIG bonuses, and Barney was firmly on the outrage bandwagon. Well get to the substance in a bit, but lets start with Franks rude form . . .
He had been pointing the finger at the Federal Reserve, which gave the first bailout money to AIG back in September. That led to this exchange.

A good offense is the best defense. And nobody is as offensive as Barney.
This AIG hearing is a great example of our pompous, blithering congress critters. Everyone more interested in making statements and getting camera time with the look of pseudo disgust and anger on their faces than they are with asking questions.
When they haul out the trash, I hope the ones who carry Bawney are hazmat protected!
You can almost see the spittle spewing from his mouth.
Look—Blarney knows he is FOS, and fully culpable for the financial meltdown, and we need to keep reminding everyone we talk to about this that he and Dodd are the architects of the loss of $ 18 trillion dollars of American wealth between house values and stock declines.
He is aggressive because the best defense is a good offense.
What is needed is someone who will not back down in front of his flying spittle when he gets going.
Frank is upset that his partner, Chris Dodd, is getting all the attention in recent days.
Dodd and Frank comprise a two-headed hydra, the monster recession....FRANKNDODD.
He knows that Senator Chris Dod is the reason for the AIG Bonuses and that all Libs have to do the Kabuki Theater to cover for him. The only problem is that it doesn't work.
He is also frustrated that He can't implement the Libs policies even with a totally Liberal President, while the economy is in in tank. They want to implement CAP AND TRADE, ENEGRY TAXES and DECAP SOCIAL SECURITY TAXES now! But they can't because the Unemployed would squawk at the first two.
But the real pressure is that the longer they can't implement these that the left will fall apart as folks continue to figure our that they are really implementing socialism.
The Farce that they are not implementing Socialism depends on quick action because the Farce cannot stand up to scrutiny.
Past time to toss the whole lot of them out of office either politely or unpolitely. Keep screwin with the American public and they will find out what wrath is.
Congress is into "governing" others but not themselves.
Bawny’s snapping at the host? Must be that time of the month for him.
He’s such a bitch.
The angst over the AIG bonuses is being overblown by the liberals and stupidly joined-in by the media, because it is in fact an intentional diversion from what the liberals did and are still participating in - and that is that the majority of the $17X billions in bailout money to AIG was spent paying off Wall Street and international banking houses who AIG counted as partners in its financial products. Whatever capital the tax-payers have put into AIG has mostly already been siphoned out of AIG and now would not be there if the taxpayers wanted to liquidate their interest or dismantle AIG piece by piece. Many of the institutions who got paid with the AIG bailout money are, like Mr. Madoff, some of the liberals best friends in finance.
That is where the bulk of public angst belongs, on how AIG has spent the bulk of the billions we gave it, and not on the mere millions it paid in contract-obligated employee bonuses.
Frank and his anger are part of a diversion. Ask Mr. Geithner, he knew where AIG was transferring much of it’s bailout money before he became U.S. Treasurer.
That “bottom” photo (pun intended)...could that be William Rivers Pitt (the Ponderous)?
Can you imagine an interview between Baba Wawa and Bawney Fwank?
Nah, that's Bwaney on the left, and some, well, whatever on the right...
Did obama decide upon a "Gay Czar" yet?
