Obama Requires YOU to SERVE, H.R.1388, "The Give Act" to reform the National Service Laws

HR 1388, will hit the House floor on Tuesday.It is called the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act (The Give Act.) The House is scheduled to Rule this week. Sponsored by Democrat Representative Carolyn McCarthy (NY), Education and Labor Committee. The objective is to reauthorize and reform the national service laws.

Democrat Rep. McCarthy is sponsoring the bill with 25 co-sponsors, ALL Democrats, including Charlie Rangel. Need I say more.

I don’t have an issue with this if it makes people who get free money for college, welfare payments, EIC bennies, WIC payments, unemployment, and anything possible penny from the government.

If these people are able to "volunteer" then we should stop the hand-outs and tell them to get a job.

I hope Congress WAKES up and take the appropriate legal steps before long. I sound calm but I am really worried about his radical agenda. He is reckless and unqualified. Congress needs to respect us and the Constitution.

This was my first reaction too. We have to find our voice and push back loudly and maybe CONGRESS will stop dancing around the issues and speak more directly and honestly. We need to bug Congress more...I guess. I just want to shake them and yell..."WAKE UP...DID YOU READ THIS???"

I'm not going to run. I'd be darned if I'll let that $%#&@#$ run me out of my country. There are other ways to deal with this problem.
