You ain't seen nothin' yet. Just wait until Zero goes on the campaign trail in our airplanes! Damn the carbon footprint, damn the cost, damn the time! This will turn into one of the most flagrant abuses of power and privlidge EVER seen in the history of any country!
Have vetrans pay medical costs for injuries, mothball a carrier and air group, stop the F-22 and on and on...but gotta have those 18 new helos for the pres. What a POS this creep is!
Yet another example to be filed under the category of “Change You Can Believe In.”
What does he need 18 helio’s for? On or two should suffice ..
Oh....but he already is campaigning using AF One.
Does he take this airplane everytime he flies home to Chicago? And how many others get a free ride?
It's a demographic thing. You wouldn't understand. /s
Actually this is probably the LEAST of the ways that Democrats abuse the military.
This costs us taxpayers money, but it doesn't fill body bags.
Keep your powder dry.

Okay this is just ODS.
He is the President (not mine, but he holds the office), and with that comes the privilege of flying on Air Force One. The President of the United States does not fly commercial, and I’ll stick to that no matter who the President at the time.
Oh and Obama canceled the helicopter order....that was placed by Bush.
I will take a wild guess.....and say that remains to be seen...........................
Didn’t Michelle buy a pair of helicopters?
$15.00 each.....but jury is still out on that. My bet is that she kyped them.
Commercial is not the point, cost and excessive use is.
Not cancelled. Mar 10 article. And it is 28 not 18.
The program now has to be recertified by the defense secretary after it is determined that the Navy’s helicopters are required for national security reasons.
The delegation wants the Navy to analyze the potential advantages of either reopening the contract or splitting production between Lockheed and Sikorsky.
“We believe that such an analysis of alternatives will present a clear option for the Department of Defense to eventually develop Marine One aircraft on time and on budget,” they wrote.
The helicopter, which will be outfitted with communications equipment, anti-missile defenses and hardened hulls, is dubbed Marine One whenever the president is on board.
President Barack Obama has made it clear to Defense Secretary Robert Gates that the contract should be put on hold for now, according to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.
Are those pods droppable?
