Former Republican Calls Rush Limbaugh 'Hanoi Jane'
AOL ^ | Mar 10th 2009 | Tommy Christopher

Best-selling author and former Republican Frank Schaeffer lets Rush Limbaugh and his Republican mates have it at HuffPo, in a piece called, "An Open Letter to the Republican Traitors (from a former Republican)": I have to say, love him or hate him, the Republicans have got to appreciate Schaeffer's helpful inclusion of related content. He's like their own personal AOL Dashboard.....

He wrote AWOL--The Unexcused Absence Of America's Upper Classes From Military Service and How It Hurts Our Country, a very popular work with left wing America haters.

just imagine where America would be today if the 14 to 20 million voters -- "the rube base" who slavishly follow the likes of Limbaugh -- had not voted as a block year after year thus empowering the Republican fiasco. We would have a regulated banking industry and would have avoided our current financial crisis. some 4000 of our killed military men and women would be alive.

Yep. The only true cause of the banking crisis is that Barney Frank and his pals at Freddie and Fanny were in the minority for a while. That's what caused the whole problem. And just imagine if those fools back in the 30s hadn't elected Roosevelt. Thousands of our finest wouldn't have died in Europe and the Pacific. Right? The only thing that causes wars is elections. It has nothing to do with hostile forces attacking a nation.

Franky Schaeffer, the fallen-away son of Dr. Frances and Edith Schaeffer of L'Aabre Fellowship, who is perhaps the most influential defender of the intellectual case for Christianity of the late 20th Century.

A lot of us are praying for this degenerate fellow, who once or twice has written more than a few books. He's now a follower of Obama's wider range of the Protestant version of Che's "Liberation Theology," in its latest form.

Until he started turning on his father's memory, no one would have given him the time of day, more or less like his father, who wrote some excellent and influential books, such as "The God Who Is There," and "Back to Freedom and Dignity."

Franky, who hates being called Franky these days, wrote a pretty good book on "The Myth of Neutrality," or so I thought when I read it two decades ago. He got lost in his father's shadow and heard the siren song of Vanity Fair.

Frank Schaeffer

I've never heard of the guy. What did AOL do? Clean out a basement closet and find this guy living under an old, worn out shoe?

I don't think so...

From RushLimbaugh.com:
Hanoi Jane Endorses Obama
April 3, 2008

REPORTER 1: Jane, who are you voting for?

REPORTER 2: Who gets your vote?

FONDA: Obama.

REPORTER 2: Oh, my God. Heaven help us all.

RUSH: The reporter for TMZ said, "Oh, God. Heaven help us all." Obviously the reporter is an Obama supporter.

________________________________________________________________________________

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:

"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."
http://www.wintersoldier.com/index.php?topic=Timeline

Fonda made the following statement at the University of Texas:
"We've got to establish a Socialist economic structure that will limit private profit-oriented businesses. Whether the transition is peaceful depends on the way our present governmental leaders react. We must commit our lives to this transition ...... We should be very proud of our new breed of soldier. It's not organized but it's mutiny, and they have every right." --Karen Elliott Dallas Morning News December 11, 1971

From 1972: "I am not a do-gooder, I am a revolutionary. A revolutionary woman."

When was Frank Schaeffer ever a Republican? He has always been a two steps to the left neo-hippie. Schaeffer has spent his adult life trying to break up the unification of the right with his condemnation of the ‘religious right’ to his books and articles (myth) of the upper classes avoiding military service (quoted by Michael Moore) to his picking and choosing negative letters for his “Letters from the Front Lines” book.

If he is a Republican, he signed up once only to be able to be NPRs token “R”, but he is not nor ever was Conservative.

a quick Google explains it all:

“Frank Schaeffer is a New York Times best selling author. He is a survivor of both polio and an evangelical/fundamentalist childhood”

When your new leader Rush Limbaugh calls for President Obama to fail he's calling for more flag-draped coffins. Limbaugh is the new "Hanoi Jane."

I don't know who Frank Schaeffer is, but he clearly hasn't been listening to Rush. Rush never mentioned anything about hoping That One fails in our National Security, which WOULD make him like Hanoi Jane. Rush said he wants That One to fail in his efforts regarding the ECONOMY, because clearly That One wants to take us ever closer to socialism, which would RUIN our economy.

Why is that so hard for folks to grasp? It can only be because they never listen to Rush, and only pick up on second, third or fourth hand reportage of Rush's comments, which usually turn out to be nothing like what Rush actually said.

and this all comes from Rahm Emmanuel talking points. You can see who is carrying the leftwing water by attacking Rush after the orders came from the WH.
