Imagine that some hypothetical enemy state spent years preparing a "Manchurian Candidate" to destroy the U.S. economy once elected. What policies might that leader pursue?
He might discourage private capital from entering the financial sector by instructing his Treasury secretary to repeatedly promise a brilliant rescue plan, but never actually have one. Private firms, spooked by the thought of what government might do, would shy away from transactions altogether. If the secretary were smooth and played rope-a-dope long enough, the whole financial sector would be gone before voters could demand action.

And of course there would have to be time in his life that, although ostensibly accounted for by college, etc., would be an empty record. A resume that claims college, but no actual record such as transcripts to back up the claims.
It might even be possible that he wasn’t born when or where he says he was, or maybe he’s not even the person he claims to be.
Of course much of this could be cleared up in five minutes by providing a birth certificate or other records.
Imagine some Manchurian candidate pretending to be a conservative Republican, but while in office:
1. Expanding the powers and budge of the harmful Dept. of Educ.
2. Expanding the federal health program with Medicare Part D.
3. Conducting an expensive and unnecessary war in Iraq that merely emboldened our enemies and prevented us from responding to our real enemies Iran, North Korea, etc.
4. Loosening regulations on the financial industry and allowing so much agglomeration that many corps that in a truly free market would be tood stupid to succeed are now too big to fail.
5. etc. etc. etc.
Records that will not be forthcoming unless provided by the NSA or CIA.
It is chilling, when you consider how efficiently his history has been sanitized.
Seems more like the work of a KGB, rather than the DNC.

Isn’t it peculiar how he ends the article with these sentences?

Something’s not right and I wonder if we'll ever know the true story.
I wonder what the Saudi version of KGB is. They’re the sanitizers, I’ll bet, working under cover of the “money talks” protocol.
I suspect that there are collaborations between the Russians, the Saudi's, some Illuminati-type organization, and who-knows-who-else.
There are certainly more than a few "Evil Ones" out there, who would love to do this to America.
The collaboration between the European Left and the Muslims has been going on for some time. I don't think the Saudi's could do this all by themselves. They are wealthy and evil, but I don't think they are that smart.
If you watch the interview at the link I posted, you will see that the KGB has been behind much of the decline of the US for decades. This seems to me to be their next logical step.
The KGB may have changed their name, but I'm sure they haven't changed their ways.
