The release of this data would either prove we are not as bad as we think, or much worse off than we think. Either way, by not releasing the data, the deception of the American public continues.

Thats alot of stuff but this beyond Obama. We are talking about the Fed.

The Fed will refuse and it will win.

Serious question: Can banks release their own data? Both the CEO’s of US Bancorp and TCF have indicated that they did not need TARP funds, they were bullied into taking them, and they would be paying them back ASAP. I would think that if banks started voluntarily releasing their own data, investors would flock to them and look askance at the ones that didn’t.

Evil indeed. Holy crap, how can they do this? How can this unelected, unaccountable entity commit $2 TRILLION of our money and refuse to tell us to whom it is being given and what the collateral is?

Seriously, WTF?

It seems to me that what this government is doing now is far more egregious than anything the British Crown did to the Colonies.

Isn't the military pledged to defend the Constitution? I never thought I'd see the day I'd be half-wishing for a military coup in this country.
