CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Reds have invited President Obama to throw out the first pitch at this year's Civil Rights Game at Great American Ball Park.
The game June 20 is with Obama's hometown Chicago White Sox.
Reds chief...says the White House has not responded to the invitation.
The Civil Rights Game has been played since 2007 in Memphis as an exhibition game to close spring training. The Reds bid and won the right to host the game in 2009 and 2010.

Whatever the distance, you can bet it'll be an under-handed, "girlie" throw (apologies to women everywhere to being compared to this milquetoast, wet-paper-bag).

In fact, that’s what I thought when I “red” the headline.
The basepaths are shortened by 20 feet, the minority batters get 5 strikes and a walk is 3 balls.
And lots of “Homie Runs” to keep the action going
