Freerepublic.com is going to get shut down by the Secret Service for threatening President Obama's life. If it doesn't happen because of a flimsy proviso in the post discussed here, then we live in a still more dangerous world.

If anyone threatens the President or advocates violence against the President on FR, I believe they can be prosecuted.

Let’s think up some more stuff to annoy them. It is apparently working very well. It is kind of fun to watch them get so agitated. I know, let’s copy and paste some stuff from their websites that they said about President Bush,but, just exchange The Prez’s name for President Bush’s. They have NO sense of humor at all and are incapable of recognizing satire when they see it. It will drive them crazier than they already are.
The Air America site merely referenced it and that was referenced at their running dog lackeys at Salon, and then we heard about all that here.
So, George Soros thinks that...... blah, blah, blah.
No doubt most of the DU, DK, and AA folks are already on the Secret Service' list of 300,000 whackjobs who are a possible risk to the President (whoever might hold the job at the time).
Interesting that there weren't any real threats in that "list" of statements other than the guy saying, back on the AA site, "I'm a Constitutional lawyer", and he might be, or he might not be, or he might be senile, or drunk, or any of a number of things. Fur Shur he knows how to make "implied threats" ~ but alas, he should get out of the courtroom (or was that the board room of some corporate special interest) from time to time to find out how folks really talk, and how they really threaten.
He could go around the streets and interview them ~ and probably suffer a beat down for his troubles, but at least he'd know.
The Hip Hop generation has precipitated out a coarsening of language and behavior that makes it risky to ask people "what did you mean by that".
Obama undoubtedly is aware that there are experts on his staff who can interpret any sort of "street language" you might imagine, so in case of doubt the Secret Service can just ask him for help.
