In response to Attorney General Eric Holder's comments about reinstating the ban on so-called "assault weapons," the National Shooting Sports Foundation issued a press release reminding Congress and all Americans that such a ban would result in a loss of jobs, have no effect on reducing crime and would deprive millions of law-abiding sportsmen and gun owners of their Constitutional right to own the firearm of their choice...

“Pelosi has a habit of lying through her store bought teeth. As long as these pirates are in charge it’s condition yellow-plus for me. Watch the current media narratives. If the term ‘assault weapons’ comes up more than a few times a week, they’re trying to soften the public on the issue.”
That is right...if a democrat politician is talking...they are lying. And, you got it right on the media also, never has the media gone so propagandist in my lifetime. They are really having to work at keeping up the lies.
That is true....
I should offer an opinion..
Even if the Thugocracy was successful in disarming or rendering many of the weapons held by citizens as less than effective by shutting off access to ammunition — within America there are still HUGE numbers of trained, armed and capable Americans who will view the weapons and armories of police, National Guard, Federal Forces, etc, etc......and simply warehouses of weapons for the citizens...
There is a hell of lot of “stuff” there which is far more dangerous than the “black painted semi-auto long guns with long magazines and thumb hole stocks that so frighten the Leftists....
America is NOT Zimbabwe.....
Washington should be very careful... It will not take much to touch off a brush fire in dry timber with raging gale force winds....
They should tread VERY carefully.
Go to their website: http://www.nssf.org/
You will find they are totally gun rights oriented. They are a large organization, you have probably watched one of their tv shows on the Outdoor Channel or in some other way benefited from them. They work to protect the businesses that serve us in relation to guns and ammo. And, consequently, they work to preserve our rights.
Our plan of resistance should be through our state houses.
Push them to pass AND ENFORCE 10th Amendment Sovereignty resolutions.
Then be prepared to back your local LEOs and Nat’l Guard when they defend the state’s citizens from federal infringement.
Be warned that some single sction shooting clubs will sell out other gun owners in a heartbeat as long as they get to keep their cowboy guns. That's how they got single action revolvers exempted from California testing and mechanical requirements and lever action rifles exempted from the 10 round limit. Watch out for these Quislings.
My apologies.
I was confusing them with the American Hunters & Shooters Association, which is a front group for the “Brady Bunch”. They advertise themselves as a pro-gun “moderate” group of hunters who ONLY favor “common sense” gun laws; but they are 100% gun-ban at their core.
Again, I am sorry for my confusion.
“These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”
First of all—how can anyone conceivably tell whether a gun is for shooting deer or people?
Second of all—the Second Amendment is all about Americans’ right to shoot PEOPLE—because oppressive governments always employ PEOPLE.
Third—it’s unfortunate that the Second Amendment did not specify “the right of the people to shoot agents of the federal government when it usurps powers not delegated to the federal government in this Constitution.”
At this point fellow citizens should mobilize, arm themselves and come to the aid of their neighbor. Bring in more teeth to counter the black boots and stand by to repel any attack. After that, they will either back off or decide to up the ante. If they escalate the manpower and weaponry, then so do we.
Just pieced an ar15 together from a Gun Show here in Ohio for around $650. Amazing price! This kind of price won’t last long with all the talk of bannination. I’ve never seen a show so packed as the one this weekend. And I can only assume they will get more crowded. Now I just need to find a good cheap supplier of 223 brass...
Unfortunately - I live in Kalifornicate....
My State House, City Councils, County Houses and very nearly every elected figure in ANY office is the “enemy”...
I live in a target rich environment....
It is far more in dangerous here, than in I Corps...along the border with Laos!
How could anyone imagine such a thing about American gun owners and not be mentally sick and a leftist.
By the way, to prepare for the 2008 election he joined the NRA and bought a "lifetime" membership.
Don’t forget Gun Owners of America. Larry Pratt and buds are HARD CORE RTKABA.
“...At what exact point, then, should one resist the
communists?...”
“How we burned in the prison camps later thinking: what
would things have been like if every Security operative, when he
went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether
he would return alive and had to say good bye to his family?
“Or if during periods of mass arrests people had not simply
sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang on the
downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had
understood they had nothing to lose and had boldly set up in the
downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes,
hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand...the Organs
(police) would very quickly have suffered a shortage of
officers...and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the
cursed machine would have ground to a halt.”
Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Gulag Archipelago
Yep. they know exactly what the 2nd is all about (even while they pretend that they think it is all about hunting). It scared the hell out of them.
Where do you think the cowboy clubs shoot?
At the gun club with the combat pistoleros, the skeet and trap boys, and the long-range big bore rifle marksmen.
You come on over to Doc Holliday's Immortals or the Riverbend Rough Riders, and smile when you say that!
