Indeed, what a CHANGE two months can make...to a presidency, to the troops, to a country. God help us!

I always loved seeing Laura with her high school friends, and President Bush with friends from his time in Texas. I don’t remember ever seeing pictures of That One or his wife with any ‘old friends’. Always makes me wonder if they actually have any from their school years.

Oops . . . I read too quickly and didn’t realize that snugs had posted the 2001 retrospective — THANK YOU snugs! . . . In retrospect, the last eight years just flew by . . . Oh to have those years back!!

It's said that the One doesn't have any close friends. Even people who have known him for years, say no one really knows him.
I miss you President Bush!

You know, I thought Billy Jeff was bad, but compared to that arrogant, ice cold Marxist slime ball, that occupies the People’s House, Clinton wasn’t to bad

I agree with you, but he's not only a slime ball, he's unreliable, undependable, untrustworthy and he's a piss ant the needs pissing on.That's only the beginning of what he will be in time.

Thanks for the ping, DrDeb. I especially liked the article contrasting Lady Laura and Michelle Obama. I am constantly amazed at how biased the media is. They can find nothing wrong with the Obamas and nothing right with the Bushes. You would think by this time it wouldn't bother me, but it does.

Thanks Kaslin. It’s so good to see President Bush and Laura again.
Only a year ago, and sooooooo much has happened.
I’ll be enjoying these pictures as I keep glancing out the window watching the snow fall. Hopefully a snow day tomorrow. ;-)

Am also glad someone has finally put side-by-side videos of the reception he received from the military and that of Obama’s reception. The military understands who is for them and who isn't.

Oh my, what a drastic difference! It almost seems as though they were told NOT to clap when That One arrived, which seems strange to me.
But the demeanor of the two men could not be more different! President Bush was always happy to be with the military, and he showed that, no matter the seriousness of the subject on which he was speaking.
That One just looks angry, but you'd think he should be happy since he's announcing 'world peace', at his own hands. /s
