Mitt Romney won the 2009 CPAC straw poll.
Yeah, I know, what a crock, I’ll tell ya what, you get Sarah Palin to step out and give a speech at CPAC and THEN take a “straw” poll...I’d love to see all these RINO supporters then.
He was born here so here’s a natural born citizen.
Should he ever run for President it won’t be issue, except maybe among kook leftists looking to undermine him.
Fixed it for ya. Btw, you're welcome.
LOL - good call!
....Have we learned nothing?
Probably, not /sarc
I’d have likely ended up pulling the lever for RINO Romney as I did for RINO McCain. However, when all was said and done, the election would have been a landslide for Obama of the proportions that Obama claimed the true election was. Add SC, MS, LA, TN, MO, AR, and likely KY to what Obama won and hope that Romney could pull out Indiana, Ohio, and/or Michigan? Not much of a chance.
LOL, wrong FReeper.
This is the clarion call for Huckabee lovers and Free Republic Romney Haters ...to fix bayonets.
Either Mitt or Bobby Jindal.
To deny that means YOU are NOT a CONSERVATIVE.
ROFLOL!!!
4 years is an eternity....!!
Citizen yes, natural born citizen, no.
Why not? You secretly just don’t like him, do you? lol
He won’t get the nomination in 2012 because he won’t be running yet. Don’t be surprised to see him tapped for veep though.
Can you produce ANY definition from the Founding Fathers for the term because unlike many others it has no basis in Common Law.
“I see it now...Romney, Palin, Jindal split the conservative vote...and who slides in?
The wonderful Florida Governor Charlie Crist.... :(”
Romney of course is not nor more a conservative than Crist.
Jindal I don’t think will be running. He’d have to be running for reelection in fall 2011 and President at the same time.
Romney couldn’t even beat McLame and Huckabee. I think Palin or Sanford will whip him.
“Romney took 20 percent of the vote, followed by Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal with 14 percent, Texas Rep. Ron Paul with 13 percent, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with 13 percent, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich with 10 percent and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 7 percent. Others on the ballot included South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist. Nine percent were undecided.”
Palin came in behind Paul? Are they sore she didn’t attend? Did Romney buy this?
Romney haters? ... Are there any such at FR? I know there are many like me who find Romney an obsequious mushy moderate rino, but hate? Try again, you failed to incite riot.
Why would these dummies want to nominate someone who is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN like the demo dummies did with bo.
I guess the demos dont have a monopoly on STUPIDITY.
Anyway I will not mention the name of that 3rd rate governor from that 3rd rate state because he has no chance of being POTUS. Not only is he NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN but he is a LOUSY speaker and he is GOOFY looking!
SARAH PALIN 2012!
Does anyone know what Mitts percentage was last year? And the year before last? Is he gaining steam or losing steam among the CPAC crowd?
Go here and they have the last 3 years on the left hand side of the web site. You can click on each for the full poll results.
Wow, you must really drink your Kool-Aid out of a beer bong...
It is pretty simple reasoning that if one is truly pro-life (you know, recognize that slicing or acid burning a human being in the womb is murder), then you DON'T support ANY candidate that not only encourages the practice, but wants to force everybody to pay for it!!!
You either support nobody, or, if you're a leader (which WIllard claims to be), you find and build a pro-life candidate so the bloody butchery (literally) of abortion ends.
I think he meant FreeManN.
