Thank you for the voice of reason. Mitt's biggest problem now, is his wealth. Barry's going to be on non-stop class warfare from now until 2012. Either it's going to wear thin, or Barry will have sealed Mitt's fate.
Romney certainly has financial and economic skills that might play well if the economy's still in the crapper in 3 years - which is not unlikely.
I don’t “get” what’s going on here when a “fake” conservative, such as Mitt Romney, can successfully out-poll possible actual conservative candidates for POTUS in ‘12! This is possibly more about name recognition than it is about anything else, but even if this is the case, then Sarah Palin should still be doing much better than she did in this poll, IMHO. I also do see it as too early to accurately predict the GOP preference for the ‘12 presidency, because anything can happen and anything will happen between now and when the ‘12 election cycle officially begins.

Um, Bobby’s parents were not yet American citizens when he was born in Louisiana. According to the meaning our founders put on ‘natural born citizen’ he is not eligible for the job of president. And I’m not a newbie troll, by the way.
A lot can but I don’t think it will. It’s going to be a Romney-Palin-Huckabee race. Throw T-Paw and maybe Sanford in the mix. Everyone else is likely irrelevant. There will be no dark horse to stop Romney this time.

I think what actually happened is that the real conservative vote got split between Palin, Jindal, Gingrich and Sanford.
