DENVER – A good Samaritan who helped push three people out of the path of a pickup truck before being struck and injured has gotten a strange reward for his good deed: A jaywalking ticket.

Our “red” Mayor, Hickenlooper, is a brain-dead Marxist, every day another outrage is committed by him or his stupid henchmen. The Governor is an equal moron, Obama lover and destructive leftoid. The sanctuary city of Denver is crawling with illegals, their gangs and drugs. Voter fraud, theft and Salazar are what has become of Colorado, I do not believe the Dems got into office in Colorado without massive fraud, the entire State seemingly switched from conservative to Marxist almost over night. Where’s the proof? Well hidden in the DemocRAT files, we need help to uncover the outrage, any suggestions?

I ran a red light the other day to get a toddler out of a busy intersection. Child wandered off from his home. Amazing he wasn’t hit. If I had received a ticket....so be it. A life is worth more.

Sounds to me like the cop is a retard, but thats what makes horse races-—differing opinions.
It’s all about the revenue.
Gone are the days of Peace Officers. Now they’re all Law Enforcement Officers. And most laws are about revenue enhancement.
If he was helping two elderly people cross the street outside of the crosswalk — placing them in danger — then he should be ticketed for his carelessness. I have no issue with this.
Let’s hear it for “trooper” Ryan Sullivan - an ass’s ass.
Next time he checks his equipment before he goes to work, he should make sure he brings his heart and his brain is functional.
And they should have tasered him too! (eyes rolling)

If I had the budget for it, the following would happen.
The man’s “tcket” would be paid, by a group of citizens arriving simultaneously at the clerk’s office (or wherever such payments can be made in person), each carrying a one dollar bill. There would be media coverage.
When he has sufficiently recovered, the man would be honored at a banquet at which he would be presented with a plaque or trophy of some kind and a cash award in some multiple (10? 100?) of the “ticket”. The LEO and his chain of command would be invited, and any who had the nerve to show up would be presented with cheap-looking booby prizes (which would, in their absence, be prominently displayed next to their placecards at the head table).
Oh well.
i'm sorry. this cop sucks. the ONLY way i could EVER see these tickets being written is if a cop was ordered to by a higher ranking officer. that's it.
the other way is if the cop has a quota and needed to write it
we have quotas too. there are plenty of ways to fill it besides writing someone who has to go to the hospital. they should be ashamed. we have discretion for situations like this one.
