i'm a cop in new york city. i troll FR looking to defend cops on threads like these. i am usually called boot licker, jack booted thug, etc...

i'm sorry. this cop sucks. the ONLY way i could EVER see these tickets being written is if a cop was ordered to by a higher ranking officer. that's it.

the other way is if the cop has a quota and needed to write it

we have quotas too. there are plenty of ways to fill it besides writing someone who has to go to the hospital. they should be ashamed. we have discretion for situations like this one.
