A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.
The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama's birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
"As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States," wrote Scott Easterling in a "to-whom-it-may-concern" letter.

If the President ois not a natural born citizen according to the Constitution then he is not POTUS and he has committed a crime and is a domestic enemy.

It might but unconstittutional but is it an actual crime not to be eligible? If so, what is the statute?
If not, then “domestic enemy” is quite the hyperbole.

Keeping telling yourself it will not. No, I'll keep watching all these lawsuits being dismissed one by one on lack of standing. That's all it'll take.
To: PurpleMan
Fraud. Yes it is a crime.

He might be a fraud, but I doubt that his being a fraud statutorally is a crime as you infer since fraud is about contract law.
Then again, I’m not a lawyer.

if he refuses to obey an order from his superiors then he's toast
No, he is not toast -- but he would be subject to court martial under the UCMJ.
That, of course is what he is looking for.
As a defendant in a military court martial he would be in a position to subpoena individuals and DOCUMENTS.
He would have STANDING.

This story is on Drudge right now and it hit his site this morning. He has been avoiding the story.
We need to post the story on all military blogs, website, retired military sites etc. If more soldiers join then it will have legs. If we get dozens then you will see hundreds then thousands.
For all those saying this is going nowhere - the fact the media is avoiding it means O has a problem and when this gets out the problem will grow.
Be prepared for more “racist militia” articles by the liberal press attacking the 10th Amendment and lawful militia movement.

Your crazy.
Are you trying to tell us that a defendant doesn’t have standing?
Put down the bong.

It won't make it to the Supreme Court. It'll be handled by the Army judicial process.
Wrong again. It could very well make it to the Supreme Court, under appeal.

The Army takes dim views of officers or enlisted ...
Are you speaking from experience or did you stay at a Holiday Inn last night?

It's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it.
And the guy that volunteered is a blithering idiot.
Tell us about your personal experience with military courts and the UCMJ.
You are speaking as an expert, correct?

He didn’t take an oath to the President. He took and oath to uphold the constitution, and to protect and defend the country against all enemies foreign and domestic. So he is trying to defend the oath.

Officer Easterling now has standing. :)
The instant they charge him he gets the power of the subpoena.
It's what he's looking for and the guy has big ones.
He knows exactly what he's doing and is well aware of the risks.
What makes this interesting is that he is a commissioned officer, not some PFC.
