The Washington Post reports that Barack Obama is finishing up his budget proposal, and if their information is at all correct, it must be defeated at all costs. Yes, our economy is hurting right now. Rather than heal it, Obama's budget would euthanize the economy.
President Obama is putting the finishing touches on an ambitious first budget that seeks to cut the federal deficit in half over the next four years, primarily by raising taxes on businesses and the wealthy and by slashing spending on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, administration officials said.
If Obama intends to try to cut the deficit, he couldn't come up with a worse plan than raising taxes on businesses and the wealthy. Americans have seen their businesses flee our country for the last two decades, as other countries have gone the other way and lowered corporate taxes. America is now the second most-punitive developed nation toward businesses. If anything, this will decrease federal revenue from corporate taxes, as business dries up and unemployment goes through the roof.
Meanwhile, raising taxes on the only people who might have the money available to invest in the economy is an equally bad proposal...

Either Obama is dumb as a rock or on a mission to destroy the U.S. economy. It is that simple. How long are Americans going to let him pin this on President Bush?

That is to cut the Military spending as much as possible.
The whole "deficit" hand wringing right now is just clumsy theater to give them cover to de-fund our military...our defense.

Either Obama is naive and believes that his plans will revitalize the economy or he is bent on destroying the economy and rebuilding it along socialist lines.

I think the Obama bunch has decided to do just that to the economy! He's got massive government spending, a feckless Fed and Treasury, and now he's doing tax increases. All that's left to duplicate the Hoover/Roosevelt cure for the Depression is a tariff increase. Any bets when The Messiah will think that one up???
Today DJIA closed 50% of it’s Oct 2007 high (14000 to 7100).
In the last week since signing Porkulus DJIA as dropped 10% 7800 to 7100).
Every time Zer0bama opens his mouth the stocks drop another 100 to 300 points the next day.
Zer0bama is causing our economic troubles and he’s been in the middle of it since he was a gang leader....er I’m sorry I mean “community organizer”...back in Illinois.
