Evolution debate persists because it's not science
By Raymond H. Kocot
...
But did you ever wonder why Darwinism's general theory of evolution, sometimes called macroevolution, has been debated for over 150 years without resolution? The surprising answer is Darwin's macroevolution theory is not a legitimate science. The National Academy of Sciences clearly defined science in its 1998 guidebook for science teachers. The definition begins with [stating that] science is a particular way of knowing about the world, and ends with, "Anything that can be observed or measured is amenable to scientific investigation. Explanations that cannot be based on empirical evidence are not part of science." In other words, a legitimate scientific theory (a hypothesis or idea) must be observable in real time and must be testable, yielding reproducible results. That is the core of the scientific method that has brought man out of the Dark Ages.
Because confirmable observations and generating experimental data are impossible for unique events like life's origin and macroevolution theory, world-famous evolutionary biologist Ernst Mayr prompts evolutionists to construct historical narratives to try to explain evolutionary events or processes. In other words, stories are all evolutionists can muster to support macroevolution theory. If macroevolution theory, which must rest on faith in a story and is considered to be scientific, why not the creation story. With that in mind, it is no wonder the molecules-to-man debate has persisted for 150 years...

I am an atheist asking a question...
What evolutionary viability is there in a homosexual relationship?
Nobody seems to want to answer that one...
Like I saked you earlier... a-hole...You really are on a loop. Homos, Pale horses, pooh eating, homos... Have you ever considered that, given your perseveration, that you might be autistic? What evolutionary viability is there in a homosexual relationship?
ANSWER: ZERO...
I am an atheist asking a question...Here. Are you going to get all hot and bothered about federal buildings again now? What evolutionary viability is there in a homosexual relationship?

ANSWER: ZERO... Mammals cannot reproduce that way...
I just finished an algebra class I'm giving to three of the children.
I may not have as much time on my hands as others.
I comment sometimes when I'm waiting for a long compile or install, or I'm enjoying some coffee for a minute during a break from all the things I'm in the middle of doing.
I've already blown my budgeted play time today, so I must pull away.
I used to believe like you. I was an evolutionist, an atheist. I believed that
Then Jesus saved me.
Needless to say, the change was profound, and I have been immeasurabley blessed by it.
I pray that you too will find that same peace.
What evolutionary viability is there in a homosexual relationship???Are you rocking back and forth as you write this?ANSWER: ZERO... Mammals cannot reproduce that way...

I recognize ketsu's liberal zealotry and shallow depth of argument.
It matches those liberal zealots on far left web sites; same focus, same enemies, same thoughts, same tact and phraseology. A liberal clone.
Yes, the Jews will be saved through Jesus Christ. However, you need to read the Mt. Olivet discourse thoroughly. Note that the Greek does not refer to the end of the world, but rather to the end of the age (aeion). Here's a good chunk of R.C. Sproul's book on the subject. Here's a good review of his book.

Crevos are second to RINOs as the biggest parasite on the conservative movement.
No. Harley riders have made me hate them because of their loud pipes and detuning to make them backfire as they come off their throttles.

None at all that I can think of. Yes, we do find homosexuality practiced in nature (though it is usually more of a dominance behavior than a "lifestyle" behavior). However, as a Christian, I do not believe that everything found in the animal population means that it is okay for humans. Some animals eat their young while others engage in cannibalism. Neither one have any evolutionary viability nor should be taken as an example of proper morality.
I know that I'll get slammed for this, but while I believe that homesexual behavior is a sin and is considered by God to be one of the greater sins, I do not hate homosexuals. God loves homosexuals and so do I. God just hates the sin just as he hates all sin. Some homosexuals become Christians and find that the urge ends. Others have to struggle with it for the rest of their lives, just as some struggle with other sins for the rest of their lives. God gives us the power to triumph over sin, but humans -- and I certainly count myself human -- often give in to sin rather than triumph.
As for atheism, that is most definitely curable! If all I knew about Chritianity was what I read in all of these Young-Earth Creationism threads, I would probably be an atheist, too. It's embarassing to see the willful lack of knowledge. God loves you and Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross for you to be reconciled with God the Father.
I used to believe that there had to be some sort of leap of faith required -- a faith in something that might or might not be real. However, after growing in Christ and seeing miracle after miracle -- especially the changes that God can make in people's lives -- I realize that faith really involves trust more than anything else. Christians are not guaranteed a life free of persecution and temptations. Nor are we guaranteed to be wealthy and free of temptation. What we are promised is that, if we put our trust in Jesus Christ, he will be with us every step of the way and we will spend eternity with him.

Rest assured that my mode of transportation will blow away your Harley on both acceleration and top speed.
They all oppose the fact that we are "Endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights."
They side with the far left and take issue with our pledge of "One nation under God".
They are almost always in lock step with the far left nineteen sixties liberals who hated America and pushed their far left social agenda. They both take shots at social conservatives and America's cultural and religious history while showing ignorance of our legal history.
The Hardcore Free Republic Evolutionists are mostly social liberals who pretend to be something else, never admitting what they really are, blind liberals who think social conservatives are the enemy of the state.
The Hardcore Free Republic Evolutionists take a liberal stand on almost every important moral and political issue with the exception of gun control. Their posts on non-evo threads bears that out. You can count on not seeing a conservative position when you see their screenname at the bottom of their post.
As a whole, they’re the biggest supporters of big government control of any group I’ve seen on FR.
Very concise analysis.
The age of which he spoke is the age in which we now live, not the end of the world or the day of the early church.
RC Sproul is blinded by the same anti-semitism as the Roman Catholic Church is. That is what replaced the early church in the fourth century. Luther had the same bias, so it continued through the early reformation unabated.
Look around at what you see. I always thought that the U.S. would never be a part of any tyrannical antichrist regeime, but Obama hates Christ almost as much as he hates freedom.
Thanks for the ping!
