If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, reader Mark Christopher Frimmel has come forward to put a Tea Party ‘09 event together. He put up an ad on Dallas Craigslist, has contacted local radio and TV, and wants you to be there. The protest will be held on the outside stage at The Cowtown Bar & Grill on Friday, Feb. 27, from 3pm to 7pm, located at 7108 Camp Bowie Blvd Fort Worth, TX. Music, food, and great fiscal conservative company guaranteed.

I heard that, that was greatness.
We had some fun run-ins with Obamunists too. One bonehead thought that "socialism sucks" somehow equated with "free medical" (her response)... she acted like she was going to get out of her car when our response was "pay you own way!" That was fun.

Ok, here is the story from my first hand experience regarding the taunting kid. He did not get arrested but just danced around in front of us. He was saying "Taxes Help People"... probably more but I couldn't hear. The cops showed up after he called in some friends. No one was arrested.
When we walked across the street to our car he drove by with 3 of his friends singing "My president is black".
By the way, there was a black marine at the same CVS while this incident was happening. The crowd yelled to him, "Thank you for your service"... he yelled back "thank you for your support", waved and gave a thumbs up.

I wish I’d learned about the Austin Tea Party earlier. At first I thought it was on Saturday, but it was Friday at 1100. I was at work and there was no way I could attend.
