Is this the new standard? It's OK for one member of the MSM to ask another for whom he voted? Great: bring it on! On this afternoon’s Hardball, Chris Matthews put the question to Rick Santelli. And rather than resorting to the typical dodges, Santelli answered the question without hesitation.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Let me ask you a question: did you vote for Obama or McCain?
RICK SANTELLI: I voted for Mr. McCain. It should be between me and my God–but I did!
MATTHEWS: I want to know where you’re coming from personally, because you’re coming down hard on Barack, that’s what I’m asking for.

When was the last time Chrissy referred to GWB as either "George" or "Dubya"?

Since when has Matthews gotten on a first name basis with the President. Americans should respect the office, not the man, and as such, when a public figure refers to The One, he should refer to Obama as Mr. President.
I know, it is a double standard, but if the left can do it, why shouldn’t I?

Santelli should have asked Chrissy who he voted for. Of course it would have been Zero. Then Santelli should have pointed out that although Santelli is an analyst, he doesn't present himself as unbiased. Come to think of it I guess Mathews doesn't actually claim objectivity, does he?
