Dude. Your caps lock is on. Just a little FYI. And we covered this topic yesterday and the day before too.
To: longfellow
Seems like a pay-off to the insurance industry.

This goose stepping little fascist needs to be prosecuted for criminal waste of taxpayer monies for even introducing this ridiculous piece of tyranny.

Let them pass it. There is no way it can stand. A suit will be filed and even if it goes to the Supremes it will be struck down as un-Constitutional.
This type of law is clearly definable as an infringement.

Given they keep getting re-elected, ‘they’ have a valid point about the intelligence level.

Let’s see, we’ll also have to pay an insurance premium for each knife in our kitchen...
...and a premium for each pair of scissors in the house (safety scissors get a 30% discount)...
...there will be a 60% “Public Hazard Fee” upon purchase of baseball bats, crowbars, hammers, etc...
Oh! And if your car weighs in excess of 3500 lbs, you’ll have to pay an insurance premium on its increased killing power...

Seems like a pay-off to the insurance industry. Glen Beck said there are virtually no companies willing to issue the kind of insurance described in this bill. Those that would issue insurance would possibly be beyond the reach of most everybody.

After some of us Insuance Freeperes tossed it around, we figured a 1.0 mil personal liability policy could be added onto a homeowners policy for about $100/month. Another Freeper said he already had a 5.0 mil umbrella personal liability stand alone policy for $250/year.
So, cost wise, it’s not nearly as expensive as you might think it is. Plenty of Freepers spend more than $100 a month in ammo.
The point is of course it is a finacial infringement upon your 2nd amendment right. Small ot large it doesn’t matter. It is an infringement.
To: longfellow
youre right.....why should we try? Clarification; calling the bill's sponsors would be like calling DiFi and Co about the AWB. In 2004 the NRA said not to waste time on them and call other legislators instead.

Kinda think this has no chance, but it would be chilling if it were to pass. It would effect every legal gun owner, dem and repub alike. This is the outcome with dem majorities.

Easy, I am setting up an insurance company in Barbados to insure gun owners for 2 million dollars and the premium will be a $1.00. It will be set up as an LLC with the managing partners, as Obama, Emanuel, and Clinton. As soon as any claims come in, we then ask for stimulus money so we don't go bankrupt.

Caps just fine with me and the more the better.
This crap can’t be shouted enough.
The people here that worry about a story being here more then once should just get over it and go on their way. Others just tuning in might have missed it.
