OKC officer pulls man over for anti-Obama sign on vehicle

An Oklahoma City police officer wrongly pulled over a man last week and confiscated an anti-President Barack Obama sign the man had on his vehicle.

The officer misinterpreted the sign as threatening, said Capt. Steve McCool, of the Oklahoma City Police Department, and took the sign, which read "Abort Obama, not the unborn."

Chip Harrison said he was driving to work when a police car followed him for several miles and then signaled for him to pull over.

''I pulled over, knowing I hadn't done anything wrong," Harrison said in a recent phone interview.

When the officer asked Harrison if he knew why he had been pulled over, Harrison said he did not.

So you’ll get pulled over and have your house searched for advocating that we abort the president but it’s perfectly fine to actually abort a few million kids every year?

Are you seriously telling me that the Secret Service doesn’t have anything better to do than search a citizen’s house because of a sign?

There was no probable cause. Conservatives in Oklahoma City should get about 100,00 vehicles together with “Abort Obama, not the unborn” signs on them and drive around the police department for several hours.

I have known many Secret Service people - all conservative, all nice, all professional.

Ditto, they seem to be the most professional out of all the law enforcement agencies. They have to respond to a lot of calls, but you never hear of them abusing their power like the officer in this article.

Probable cause around here is a “tail out”, strange thing is when you get out to check, after the cop leaves, it’s never out!

It doesn’t really say who contacted the Secret Service. I would bet the first officer or some paperwork pusher..

Well, at least the police officer confirmed that the left do actually agree that abortion is murder.

I thought that was the most fun twist of the whole story. I had to laugh when I read that, because I could just see the abortion advocating left cringing at his reply.

I want a collage of the three speeches where he gave the finger salute. (Like a 12 year old) He spoke of Hillary and gave the finger twice(two different speeches) and this one you have pictured was while he was congratulating McCain on his campaign and gave him the one finger salute.

I agree. I would have welcomed them to the front porch, sit down with them and pour a few glasses of iced tea, and talk about children, OU Sooners, and the weather.
