A.N.S.W.E.R. will be in D.C. once again this March 21, 2009 for their march on the Pentagon.
Gathering of Eagles/Eagle Up will already have Eagles watching over the various Military Monuments.
FReeRepublic will once again occupy an area on the Virginia side of the Memorial Bridge in the area of Arlington Circle. We have a tentative location from the National Park Service but will need to work out some details.
WE NEED TO KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHO WILL BE ATTENDING. Please let me know by post or private FRmail.
Tentative Time: 11:30AM to 4PM
Place: Arlington Circle Area
Closest Metro: Arlington Cemetery Blue Line
Also, Mark your Calendars for May 23, "Defend America" Rally. This is NOT a FR, GoE or Eagles Up event but sounds like a real good event to attend.
and June 13, Victory in Iraq March, sponsored by Gathering of Eagles and Eagles Up but FReeRepublic will lend any help we can. Some help we can give is by donating some money. This march was originally slated for April 4 but the Cherry Blossom Festival superceded it.

If you lived in GA ping
Have to miss this one as little Hoodlum is due to come to this world on the 17th.
Have a great time though! GOE is a lot of fun!
Where do we park?
Where do we park?
Thx for notice.
There’s parking at Arlington Cemetery, but it’s $$$.
There is a parking garage just 75 feet (25 yards for you military types) west of 16th Street on the NORTH side of both Eye and K Streets. A quick walk (1 1/2 block maximum) to the Farragut West station, hop onto the BLUE line to Arlington Station.
The EYE Street parking garage is 3/4 block from the Farragut West station.
I would prefer to let the Arlington Cemetery Parking garage for those bring stuff and for visitors to Arlington. There is a good drop off point on the north side of the Circle and then head to the Cemetery garage.
And KBURI, you'll be one of those that I hope will bring some stuff down for 11:30 AM.
Was that the year somebody saved my life with the flask of whiskey?
Must have been. Jeez it was cold, damp and windy that March. At Walter Reed the night before, we had mixed sleet, cold rain and snow. Miserable weekend for sure.
The only thing that warmed me up was seeing all the Troop Supporters and hearing our chants directed at the anarchists.

But even with the cold and ice, being among patriots was much fun. I am trying to clear my schedule so I can come up again this year.
