Join the Patriotic Resistance To Obama’s Agenda And The Massive Government Spending Spree!
grassfire.com ^ | 2009 | Grassfire

Posted on 02/14/2009 8:29:55 AM PST by jan in Colorado

President Obama is moving quickly to implement his liberal, “post-American” agenda. Right now, Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Congress are using the economic crisis to push massive and unprecedented new government spending that will rapidly move America to the socialist Left.

Who can stop the Obama agenda? Only an unprecedented idea-based Resistance from freedom-loving citizens can prevent the full implementation of Obama’s march to the Left. That’s why Grassfire.org is seeking to identify and mobilize grassroots citizens who will Join The Resistance— an alliance of patriotic, resilient and determined conservatives who will not forsake their principles.

It is time to fight back!

I agree, and so does Gerald Celente. Listen to his interview on Fox News.

"It is time to fight back!"

If all of us REALLY want to fight back then there is one sure way to do so.

Legally Starve the beast. One of the first things to do is change your withholding status on your W-2 forms. Send as little to the government as you are allowed.(claim lots of dependents etc.)

Take the extra money and put it in CDs and Money Markets in your local bank. Even if you have to give it back at tax time you earned interest on that money instead of letting Barry and his looter buddies in Congress use your money for free for a year.

Talk to your accountant and look for a legal side business that is also a hobby you are interested in or currently engage in. Use it to legally pay less taxes to the government.

For instance say you are a amateur photographer. Put some pics up on photobucket for sale, place some in local businesses on a commission deal. Then if you are planning a vacation make sure you keep receipts and take lots of pics while there. Even better if there is a Arts/photography Convention or an Art Bazaar where you vacation at, Go and get business cards and make contacts try and sell a few works. Then deduct the whole trip.

Starve the beast dry up their money. Its estimated over 50% of the American Taxpayers overpay their taxes because they aren't aware of all the deductions available to them.

A poster on a recent thread noted that some printer cartridges are encoded with something that’ll produce info on docs to identify the cartridge. I assume that can be connected with the purchaser (if using credit card). I think they said it was just laser printers, not inkjet (but I’m not certain).

Not sure if it’s true, but FWIW... Never underestimate the power of Big Bro.

We also need to start an economic resistance.

Your ideas are spot on. We have been living the life for a long time now and I can honestly say that the economic downturn has hurt us very little if at all. Add to the list diversification of sources of income and don't rule out bartering.

Consider this analogy... If you need to fell a large tree, you can either expend all your energy chopping it down or you can just girdle the bark and in a short amount of time it will die and fall by its own sheer weight.

Starve the Beast!

Are you sure this isn’t a David Axelrod sponsored website designed to get our digits so he can round us up more easily at the appropriate time?

Hmmm... I never thought of that. With all that I've posted and my home page exposing Obama, it wouldn't be too hard for them to "find" me.

So, do you think Digg is a bad idea?

On second thought, maybe we need to put a picture of something else related to this century (tea bags are not of much value, unless you drink organic green tea)....maybe a picture of a vehicle, a house, bank....we’re changing banks from the G’vt owned one to a Credit Union....we’d have to explain a little more.

Great advice! Many people don't know that this is not only possible but perfectly legal!

The beancounters in DC worry about one or two percent drop in consumption, What kind of dent can we put in it just by cutting back?

Starve the Beast!

Actually, I had the same thought, I just haven't had time to do up other 'visuals' yet. I was thinking of an image, replacing the teabag with a $ that has the circle and line through it.

Hmmm....maybe we should do something that shows NO INCOME TAXES, i.e. we (the TAXPAYER FUNDING THIS BOONDOGGLE) will do everything we can to pay LESS in income taxes....

I like the idea....but, I think the message might be confusing....although if we write a note on the card, like NO MONEY For the RNC, or NO MONEY for the GOVERNMENT BOONDOGGLE, or something like that, it would work. Good job.

If they can't even attempt deport 20 million illegal aliens, then they can't arrest and jail 50 million Americans!

But then, there's probably more political will to preserve the entrenched "ruling" Beltway Class.

You should be aware that grassfire.org banned all supporters of Ron Paul from their forum during the primary season. There are many here at freerepublic who don’t agree with Ron Paul and attack freepers who support him, but there hasn’t been an outright ban of him, or his supporters.
