each Rep allowed one minute to speak.
Thanks, when I watch I will keep that in mind.
As a lady myself, I know all those words and how to use them. LOL!
I agree, it reflects badly on us to resort to that in public, but right now my dog’s ears are turning blue!
I had a small glass of wine and am finding that side discussion with others who are also feeling the pain of this is helping, somewhat.
She knew it would get done and more than one person verified what she said.
I’m saving mine to give to the right candidate when the time comes.
Thanks! Now I know which lottery numbers to pick today. That’s the only way I’m going to get a raise after this Obamanation passes.

My son is barely making it as a free lance musician. I’m also self employed. I answered a Rasmussin poll last night and I’m sure that the computer was thrilled to use all it’s options. I told my 8 year old granddaughter that we were watching the Congress give away her freedom and set it up so she would have to pay more than half her income in taxes when she was grown.
That's interesting. Dems who voted against:
Bright
DeFazio -- voted FOR last time ... a convert!
Griffith
Minnick
Peterson
Shuler
Taylor
Who did we lose this time around? Boyd (FL), Ellsworth (IN), Kratovil (MD), Kanjorski (PA), Cooper (TN).
I think I'll have to call the nay-voters and thank them.
I was surprised at DeFazio. Tiny miracles in a storm.
Craftsperson? Was that out of habit, or are you giving in to the liberal PC language reformation?
BTW, all working men and women who have legitimate jobs producing products or services that free men are willing to buy with their own money are both artists and craftsmen.
This goes for the guy who makes intricate sculptures to the guy who flips hamburgers. If you take pride in your work and people are willing to pay you to do it, then you are an artist and a craftsman.
I am an attorney and I consider myself both an artisan and a craftsman. I am also a musician, but in that department I am but a simple artist as no one has seen fit to pay me for my efforts.
My son is also a musician/ song writer....Think they could apply for one of BOs grants.
Phil Gingrey, the conservative Republican has a full hour to speak and is doing a bang up job right now of distinguishing the differences in the republican plan and the porkulus.
Canda’s stimulus package is one-third the size of Porkulus as a % of GDP. $40B, or US$32B
My brother is an artist, and he tells me the same thing about government funds to the arts. Almost everything is siphoned off to an assortment of established “arts institutions”, wherein administrators earn big bucks, and next to nothing trickles down to the creators of the art. My piano teacher, who works in theater as a music director, has told me that same thing. He’s against funding the NEA for similar reasons. It’s window dressing that doesn’t really support art in a meaningful fashion. Both my brother and piano teacher are otherwise politically lefties and supported Zero.
According to Gingrey the republican plan would have called for an across the board 1% CUT in government spending, save military spending. Considering that congress never cuts any spending, that is amazing and would have been great.
PRAYING the SENATE STOPS THE INJUSTICE!!!
Looks like I’m not alone when it comes to forcing the tongue to be silent.
