I have expressed repeatedly my dismay at the total lack of understanding of economics from President Obama and others. Eugene Robinson and Harold Meyerson each prove that support for this so-called stimulus bill is not based on history, economics or logic. Thee basis upon which they both attempt to justify this spending bill are so poorly researched and argued, that the only reasonable conclusion is that their priority is to push ideology. I agree and what really has been amazing is the MSM is defending the bill they haven’t even read. This is what passes for press scrutiny these days?

The Strategy was first elucidated in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation magazine by a pair of radical socialist Columbia University professors, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. David Horowitz summarizes it as:
The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.
The bill is so poorly researched and argued, that the only reasonable conclusion is that their priority is to push ideology.
