I didn't see a live thread and I just can't watch this debacle alone.
Meagan Kelly on Fox said the FBC filed a lawsuit under the freedom of information act to find out where this "lost" 78 billion dollars went from the first "bailout".
Things are getting a tad bit too interesting for my taste!
P&L is the base line of any business; when the Loss side of that equation exceeds the Profit side, and you don't have any savings or other readily available funding to cover the difference your business dies. I was in the hardware side of the computer industry for 30+ years, and have seen many companies start up and fail. The overall health of the industry was good, and grew well. Over-reaching the technology is a given, and most times succeeds, but it takes skill and luck to maintain the growth.
Yet we are all cognizant of the requirements necessary to establish a P&L, we all have our own income and expenses that we must balance out. This mis-begotten Bill will put the US in hock to every 'venture capitalist' in the world, and the payments are due immediately. The Dollar will fall, the Tax Income will fall, the Expenses will rise, and the State Mandates will increase.
Goodbye America, it's been one hell of a ride!

Heh ... I wasn't aiming for that sort of reaction. Rather, my objective was to remind readers that Obama speaks as a politician, and it's safe to assume that every measurable assertion he makes is couched in hypertechnicality.

Keep calling. The news today that the bill will ration healthcare for the elderly might be enough outrage to infuriate the old people and others to get angry.

Real Hope and Change there.
Call talk radio and scream about the healthcare rationing for the elderly. The Democrats and Obama tried to sneak that one in. No cuts for illegal aliens I see.

I've been able to get through to one of my Senators office, Senator Bunning, which is against it, but havent' been able to get through to Senator McConnell's office. I always get a busy signal. I have emailed them both.

I just went over to AARP. I didn’t see any mention yet. I spent a lot of time chatting there about Teri S. I told them then, the disabled today, the elderly tomorrow.
On Tuesday, 2/17, when the bill is actually coming out of the Senate, the market is currently down 200 points.
Must be the speech Zero gave last night...?
