Ted Nugent: Why gun sales are surging ( It just wont stop )

His choice of Eric Holder to be attorney general bolsters that distrust.

Like Obama, Holder is a gun-control zealot —typical of the loony, anti-freedom wing of the Democratic Party.

Do not believe the president’s thinly veiled statements about supporting an individual’s right to own guns. Rather, review these men’s previous, career-long, freedom-restricting, gun-grabbing statements.

I’m solid 2A and life member of NRA. Hold your fire until we try economic pressure first. We can bring these bastards to their knees without firing a shot. The American consumer is 80% of the economy. Watch for mortgage, credit card, car payment, consumer debt payment moratoriums coming your way soon. Three months of holding back payments will bring the government to its senses. The power lies in the hands of the people. Gandhi first, then Lexington, but only if necessary.

Huh, what does governmental “economic pressure” have to do with joining Second Amendment Rights Groups?

What our new president and his attorney general obviously want is control. Studying other gun-grabbing regimes of the past, they know the first thing that needs to be done to turn us from citizens to subjects is to disarm us.

Bears repeating.

Join the GOA,NRA and your State or Local Gun Rights Group... Don’t just stand on the sidelines while some one else fights for YOUR rights, join the battle!

And apply for a concealed carry permit.

My dad taught American History for 30 years in the days before FedGov PC took over the schools, and I have been an avid history buff all my life, so I am aware of the odds in 1776 (two of my g-g-g-g-g grandfathers laid their lives and fortunes on the line despite them).

Can you imagine the average American risking everything they own and even their own lives in order to keep their freedom? I sadly can't. I wonder where to move to in order to find those people....

I believe there are a lot of them around us, they just have to be awakened... hopefully BEFORE the battle has actually started.

Even during the American Revolution a lot of the Patriots didn't start to get involved until the war was almost upon them...

We live in a small town about 60 miles from two Mexico crossings. I can assure you that the local Gun Shop has the most business in town. I was shocked the other morning to see so many customers at the noon hour.

You find a lot of serfs in the major cities, but out in “flyover” country, it’s a whole different story.

The serfs and their lefty satraps run the minor league cities too. Most of Iowa - out of the way, formerly sensible IOWA, for crying out loud - has had its collective lips surgically attached to the NEA's sphincter so long that it would rather die than come up for air. The cancer is metastatic. Yeah, there are about 83 of us left who don't like it, but half of that number are in Texas between November and April, and the AARP may have gotten to them already.

But yes, some Americans are still ornery; you are, and I am, and so are those guys at the keyboards over there. I believe we are past the stage where it matters, but maybe you are right about having a chance at salvaging something and I am wrong. My fighting abilities are as limited as my entertainment abilities, so I'm going to have to rely more heavily on that "old age and treachery" thing than many.

That's true. Thanks for the reminder. I just doubt our citizens are of the caliber of those back then....some will be and I need to hang with those. Unfortunately, I'm in Mexifornia - all illegals and liberals. I'll have to scour the countryside for the hardy folk!

As an aside, a local gunstore has a picture of Obama with the message below it saying he is gun salesmen of the month, three months running!

That is funny!

There again, we don't know if that's true until push comes to shove. One thing that gave me great hope was the many young people that stepped up during the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, even though they KNEW they were headed into combat, they stepped forward...

I need to keep thinking of those types of young people, not the whining ones that have the entitlement attitude. People just expect to be given so much these days without having to earn it. And are willing to take something for nothing, even if they’re taking it from someone else.

I’ve spent too much time in classrooms (actually, only a year - but enough to see some pretty good examples of entitlement-grabbing youth - and adults).

I need to hang out with a better class of people!

I bought out the stock of .243 (all THREE boxes).

Does anyone else detect a shortage of ammunition? Are suppliers that back-ordered? Could the Fed have a backdoor way to render guns impotent via munitions regulations, etc?

Bad enough that I don't trust my government with the likes of Holder, my two state senatoresses (Feinstein, Boxer), and Captian Kenyan at the helm, but have ammo manufacturers been pressed to 'under-serve' the market for political reasons?

Brain Storm Here- Alert!

I just figured out the way to cripple any and all attempts to disarm U.S. Citizens. It goes like this (boys and girls): Use the ADA (American's with Disabilities Act) to dismantle every last 'infringement' on the right to keep and bear arms. Here's how it's done:

"Your honor, I would have protected my family from an attack while my car was being jacked, but I was "disabled" by federal and state regulations from having a weapon available to repel the attack." "I would have inervened while my wife was raped and my children and I watched in horror, but couldn't because I was 'disabled' by my representatives in Washington D.C., my state capital, and the Supreme Court."

"With all due respect, your honor, almost every intersection in America has been redesigned to accomodate people in wheelchairs. A worthy project as accessibility is an American right. Barriers as such weren't intended, but correcting them will have a lasting effect where all may participate in the American Dream."

"Further, your honor, I recall a president who implored the president of another country to "Tear down this wall" as a way of removing an impediment standing in the way of people becoming citizens of a Free World." "I ask you now, your honor, to do the same with these artificial barriers that prevent Americans from living 'freely'."

"An unarmed American is a disabled American, your honor." "As such, we demand that these barriers to self-defense be taken down." "It'll cost the government nothing to take these barriers down but to issue a decree, and one, I might add, is congruent with the wishes of our founding fathers."
