They are debating again on the Senate Floor (CSPAN). The Republicans supporting it are going to speak. We cannot reach them to voice our objections. Their phones conveniently don’t work.
Can we start a campaign, here and now, to get them thrown out of the party if they vote yes on this stimulus package? I am all for it!

Sen. Collins is on CSPAN right now talking about how the American people want the Senate to work together and to compromise. I hope the voters of Maine remember her at the next election.
I’m not very familiar with her (thankfully) but her voice is quavering. I hope the citizens of Maine tar and feather her.
There are too many paper mills. Supply and demand, lady.
Even Voinivich pulled out of the agreement this morning which left Collins, Snowe, and Specter. The most they ever had in the compromise was four Republicans and it went down to three.
