Collins won election in November with 62.5% of the vote to 37.5% for the Democrat.
Her lifetime American Conservative Union voting rating is 52% conservative and in 2007 she voted with the conservatives 36% of the time. She’s been in Congress for 11 years.
Olympia Snowe has a 49% life time conservative voting record and she voted conservative 28% of the time in 2007. Snowe has been in Congress for 29 years.
