i am sure this was posted already, but my local talk radio station said they recalled ailing senator kennedy back to washington for the vote! he must look awful.
The 24 hour news channels are saying that 14 Senators met in secret and crafted the compromise amendments and that Collins and Ben Nelson of Nebraska took the lead.
She was just elected to and says she is not going to run again so she feels free to do what she wants now. Disgusting!
These people are SICK...this is no longer about doing what’s best for this country (not that it ever was). This is all about Obama winning. They don’t care about anything else....it just has to be Obama wins. So they can plaster it all over the headlines and he can smile his arrogant ass smile and snarl at all of us again:

They are waiting for a Senator to come forward and speak. No way they cut out all the pork today along with a lot of items like money for ACORN. Anyone voting for this travesty needs to go join the Dems as they already have the 60 votes. Disgusting. Collins took money from the GOP last fall for her reelection and then becomes a turncoat.
