I've tried both Boxer and Feinstein, but get nothing but busy signals or "mail box full" messages. That's a good sign. That means citizens are burning down their switchboards. But they also have forms on their websites to send messages. Click the link above to contact your senators.
Here is the message I sent to both of my senators:
Please vote no on the pork package. If you want to stimulate the economy, stimulate business investment and hiring and give people more money to spend NOW, cut the taxes. Cut business and investment taxes. Cut the payroll tax. Cut the personal income tax. Don't burden us or our children with trillions of dollars in crippling new debt. You cannot tax, borrow and spend your way into prosperity. The Chinese are going to eat your lunch! Scratch that. They've already eaten your lunch. They're now eating your home!
Regards,
Jim Robinson
I heard on FOX news that Feinstein is actually considering voting no. Now is the time to call. Put the pressure on and keep it on! The people do not want this trillion dollar boondoggle! Time for the senate to get a taste of the wrath of the people!!
Here's a better-late-than-never Ping. (There is life outside of FR. Yes! Really.)
There is????
Mr. RR actually talked to John Thune a couple of days ago. (but that was like preachin’ to the choir.) I think our other senator, Tim Johnson, is a lost cause.
emailed them anyway so their servers can see they load.
You must go to each senator's site use their form so they logically organize them by subject.
Most do not list Stimulus Bill as a topic so you should type in bold letters at the top of your post to them:
“Stimulus Bill” VOTE NO
They can't miss what you are trying to say and they probably don't have the time to read all the emails they receive.
Sweetie, once a Cheesehead, ALWAYS a Cheesehead! ;)
GREAT list....thank you!!!!
I’ll be calling and emailing early Monday morning.
Mr G and I emailed both our Rino’s (Alexander and Corker) earlier in the week. Both of them now have voice mail messages.
Who are the weak links on the R side?
Does anyone have an email address for Olympia Snowe? Her message box if now full.
Done and Done.
But I know that old worthless, need to retire, Byrd and carpetbagger Rockefeller won’t listen to “us”. Unless something in the state is named after them. With tax dollars.
Since they are going to meet through the week-end, we should fill Washington with people calling for a NO on Pork. Tax cuts, NOW. I know it will have to be local people, but there should be a lot of people who are willing to make the drive on a week-end, take the train, whatever.
Here is the Poll in the Inquirere asking about the Stimulus package
READER POLL
Do you think the near-$800 billion stimulus package will work?
Yes
5 (16.1%)
No
26 (83.9%)
Thanks Jim! will do! ((hugs))
Thank you Lucy! I’ve been trying to find this thread...stupid me didn’t bookmark it!!
thanks friend :)
re: 136
Hey, thanks a lot for the e-mails of Bayh & Lugar!
Wrote them both!
Thanks friend!
They may have reached a “deal”, however there will be no vote until Sunday or Monday, per Jon Kyl on Larry Kudlow tonight. KEEP CALLING, EMAILING, AND FAXING YOUR SENATORS ALL WEEKEND!
Neither of my rat Senators’ phones were answered.
I did send them each an e-mail. Since Warner and Webb are dimowits, logic won’t work so the only hope is to try to confuse them. I tied Obama’s big gov’t spending package to Bush’s big gov’t spending. Closed with ‘the country didn’t vote to continue with four more years of failed, big deficit, big government spending.’
Done....
Thanks,Mr Robinson!
