Not on web site yet.
Just heard on Fox News that Judd Gregg (R-NH) is nominee for Commerce Sec. That would tip the senate wouoldn't it?
Three-fourths (38) of the States must ratify a proposed amendment in order for it to become a part of the Constitution. If you want such an amendment, two-thirds (34) of the States would have to call for a new Constitutional Convention; no way the Congress proposes an amendment which is against its interests.
The 60 appears to be inevitable. These bastards are going to use every available lever to get their wish. You have Emmanuel and that press secretary as just two examples of this dreaded band of socialist pigs who would take no prisoners if they could wipe out their enemies. These guys make Clinton’s bunch look demur in comparison.
Your handle reminded me this episode in modern US political history is a macro version of blackhawk down. The Republicans are the US military contigent, pinned down and unendingly harassed by a seemingly endless supply of democrat mogs. You know the contigent will fight bravely and to the last man, but they are doomed to defeat in the end. Unless, of course, they can manage to call in air support. Metaphorically what would constitute air support?
Obama and the socialists have as one of their immediate goals to absolutely crush Wall Street and marginalize it’s power. They want the people who didn’t go with them to do just the opposite of what they sold. They want the republicans to give up hope. If Obama can talk down the Dow to about 5K, he can achieve the goal.
This is a real trap, and I'm fearful he will accept.
Just type in "Sen. Gregg" in your search choice. You'll see "contact" up on top of his home page. Click it and you'll get the email form.
He doesn't reply to emailers who aren't from his state, but you can still send it. I did, and y'all should do so, also.
Consider this a freep. That's what we're here for, correctamundo?

Also, what does Michael Steele say about this?
If this turncoat has the nerve to actually show up at the Senate for a hearing, the word traitor should get used early and often.
Well, also Blame Bush 1 for a piss poor job at vetting; he was vetted during the Reagan years and immediately shot down. Thanks to Sununu Sr. he is where he is today.
**Hopefully Gregg wont take the job unless the NH governor agrees to appoint a Republican.**
and
**He better get it in writing, because Dims cannot be trusted.**
That is the rumor going around - but how much sense does that make. If Greg is expected to install Obama’s agenda in the Dept. of Commerce - he’ll need the Senate Dems’ votes. That’s like marrying your mother-in-law and paying child support for your wife.
I know that Frank is despicable and all, and that thing he’s swearing on must have some significance to his wretchedness, but what is it or what is the context of that picture? I missed it.
Thanks,

From a crowd who claims that it is patriotic to pay more taxes, they seem to have no problem not paying at all. Hmmm?
Then Reid will seat Franken. It’s SO frustrating to see us become a 1-party nation.
The Senate Leadership, icluding the NRSC, needs to get involved. They can offer him co-whip (there might be a proble re Senate rules with splitting a position) or something of that nature. Jeffords was offered to Chair a moderates caucus. Gregg isn’t a moderate but having him in some type of senior Senate leadership role would greatly help.
One-party rule has worked out so well for us in Illinois...
“Gregg, a former governor, is up for re-election in 2010 in a state that has been trending Democratic for the last few years.”
It’s happened in New Hampshire, Washington, Oregon and surely other places. Blue-staters screw up their own places so bad they move out, then try to make their new homes into the screwed up places they came from!
In the above cases it’s NY and MA to NH and VT, and Californians to the Pacific Northwest.
Yep. Trap set by Obama.
The story I read on google say that he is indeed about to be appointed but has gotten agreement for the Dem governor to replace him with another Republican or republican leaning Senator. if is someone who is road kill we will end up the loser.
That would mean taking a Democrat's word for something, which is a very iffy proposition.

Rudman’s role was crtical in getting David Souter installed at SCOTUS. He was founding co-chairman of the Concord Coalition, that traveling Hegelian Dialectic Show for limiting discussions about government cutbacks.
What’s important is that he’d have an (R) after his name. /sarc
Selfish prick if he takes this meaningless cabinet post.
