thomas.loc.gov ^ | effective bill Jan 6th 2009 | corrupt progressives liberalsout to ruin our country

Brought to you by the Obama Chicago machine. Are you ready for the House Bill titled 'HR 45, Blair Holt Licensing and Record Act of 2009'.

It will make it illegal to own a firearm unless it is registered with the database in Washington D.C. As a gun owner you will have to be finger printed, you will be required to provide your DL#, SS#, you must maintain a valid address at all times, submit to mental amd physical health records being put on file, you will also be required to file any address changes and you must report any ownership changes even if private sale.

Each update will cost $25 and if you fail to comply you will lose your right to own firearms and be subject to criminal penalties.

This bill and its language mirror almost completely one defeated last year in the House of Representatives by soon to be Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Will we the citizenry be as lucky this time?

We cannot let them pass this bill!

“So what are they going to do put 20 million people in prison?”

Make that 80 million.

Buying ammo and guns is now a political statement.

You guess what you want to guess hoss.

I do hold those who purport to be the guardians of our laws to a very high standard in their conduct. But in the end they are citizens themselves even if they don't have to live under the same multitude of oppressive laws that we “civilians” do.

If you prefer they turn a blind eye and do what they are told regardless of the circumstances or undeniable and irreparable harm it will do the nation, then so be it. Accept the consequences and enjoy your chains.

I would prefer on matters of such undeniable importance as the right of the people to keep and bear arms that these men and women consider themselves citizens first and law enforcement second.

Some things are just too important. The fight against tyranny is one such thing.

They keep pushing that little bunny into a corner he can’t get out of and they will discover that warm and fuzzy critter has teeth.......

A side note, rabbits can be nasty and mean when cornered or provoked, not only they have nasty teeth, but sharp claws.

Maybe you should come up with a list of laws YOU feel that police should ignored so that we can all know what YOU consider worthy of being disobeyed by the police.

For myself I'll stay within the Constitution you profess to be so important to you, and use my elected officials, the NRA lobby, and the ballot box to counter law I disagree with.

Also the southern parts of Illinois, Ohio and Indiana would likely split off. We'd have most of the food, other than some of the fruits and vegetables from California, much of the minerals, especially oil and gas. They'd freeze and starve in their putrid cities.

We might be able to salvage Pennsylvania too, except for the Eastern side where Philly and its environs lay. If not, at least I can make it to friendly territory for less than a tank of gas.

This sounds eerily similar to sexual predator monitoring or any criminal monitoring for that matter.

Being a law abiding citizen is taking on a whole new meaning.

Already the law in New Jersey. You need a Firearms ID card to own a gun, pistol or rifle, along with a permit for each pistol you intend to purchase. Application for above requires fingerprinting, appearing in person at local police station and 2 references. (I guess they want to know where you are hiding the unregistered guns) CCW...forgedaboudit!

Also, state law prohibits the actual sale of any guns at a gunshow, this includes Airsoft, BB and Pellet guns. Under the ridiculous NJ laws even a BB gun with a bayonet lug is considered an assault weapon. Now coming to a town near you.

For you see, I do not wish to secede, I want to take the country back.

I wonder if that is still possible. The media is a DNC mouthpiece, making it almost impossible to get the truth out. If ACORN gets billions out of the recovery package, that's nothing but money straight to the DNC. We're screwed.

It will take the blood of patriots, I fear.

Amazing. In order to own a gun in New Hampshire, you simply have to buy it, wait 5-10 minutes for telephone confirmation that you are not a felon or under a restraining order in the state, and leave the store with your new purchase Freedom: the way it should be. The day they ask me to do what they ask you to do in New Jersey is the day I stop obeying the law.

P.S.: went to Wal-Mart to buy ammo today - there was almost NONE left. I wonder why....

You are forgetting the simple solution. Starve them for money. The media is nothing without ratings and advertising dollars. Turn them off and don't spend a dime on products they advertise. Same with politicians, support candidates that you agree with and make them stronger opponents of the incumbent. The power of incumbency is the accumulation of huge war chests. Make them spend that money to keep their offices. Don't allow another unopposed Dem to win an election.

Same with the Acorns and other lib groups, use their tactics and sue them into submission. Why are the ACLU, Greenpeace and other lib groups so powerful? Because organizations give in to their demands rather than deal with the expense and time of litigation. Most libs don't work for a living and can spend years sitting in trees to block construction projects.
